I mean, the most expensive one is literally a virtual accordion. All of the sound is synthesized on board and can be recorded directly. The lack of room noise is why it sounds so different from the others. Overall though, I agree the cheepest one has the most character.

He's using different register settings so that's why they sound extra different. It's like comparing two guitars but one using single-coil bridge pickup and the other humbucker neck pickup

You know that isnt nearly the most expensive one. I am an accordionist myself i've been playing for 7,5 years and in march im picking up an accordion worth around 14k.
The lack of reverb and the sound chosen for the digital accordion didn't sound too good in this video. On other channels, people that played these digital accordions were able to make it sound like a real authentic one. Mr.ACCORDION did Kass' version of TLOZ theme on a digital and it sounds so amazing

the $50 one didn't seem very playable compared to the others. choppy reed sound... and the Roland at the end made me laugh with the electric bass instead of the reed type sound... but the best one is the one that somebody can play coz i sure can't even think about playing a button accordion .. i do love the sound. it has an expression and a romance to it.
i wonder if it'll have anything to do with how long the reeds last, or maybe just materials used to construct them? any way ya slice it, the accordion always sounds beautiful. Especially in such practiced hands!
wow, the 50 dollar one is even more autentic than the roland, think also in my country we have a lot of loss of the old authentic diaonics in the folcloric, now the most play very high quality "Steirische" which sounds quiet to clean and perfect and has eliminated the life sound which makes music so ......hmmmm just alive ;)
Think only someone who knows the instrument would pick up on difc in the first 3, and the last doesn’t even sound like an a accordion. The middle 2 are clearly a fuller sounds, but for the money, the cheap one is impressive.

Love the walking bass. I play guitar and I want to get into playing some accordion for some Mexican music and this is a trick I really wanna learn Bc not many Mexican players do that. That I’m aware of at least. It reminds me a lot of what Chet Atkins would do playing guitar.
The 1st one sounds "overextended" like an amp at the end of its life but is not bad. The second one felt more "fluid" but I didnt like that much and felt muted, I think the 3rd one is considerably better. The 4th one is not necessarily better but has a much larger "body" on the sound like changing a piano for an organ but also has strident notes that I dont like. The 5th one is the one I disliked the most, to me sounds like a cheap plastic clarinet and super muffled Im not a musician and never had an accordion, but the pigini for me is the winner by far, and surprisingly the cheapest is middle of the road in terms of enjoyment

In Russia we have a lot of cheap nice accordions and 50 bucks isn't cheapest accordion.
I kinda like the airy sound of the 50$ one sounds way older and normal for a accordeon. The expensive one sounds like a keyboard

They sound more electric the more expensive they are though the 50 dollar one is my favorite.

In all fairness i think the Pigini sounds the most authentic. The Ukraine is big but sounds like the 2nd. And the 5k Roland just has too much low.

My grandad has a really old accordion that I also played a bit in childhood
2700 and below sound close enough, but the the quality difference is obvious the more expensive it goes
