Spot-on review. I agree with every point made here. The 452s do somehow sound "different". Last week I stopped by my local GC and auditioned nearly every headphone offered, and these S452's won out. I chose them for build quality, comfort, both low-end & high-end responsiveness, and they happened to be on sale for $69. What I notice is the bass sounds coming from these doesn't overdrive into the ear and the highs seem silky and smooth. There is an acoustic sense of open space or distance between the cups and my ears which I like very much. That is what seems most different from all my other headphones. Of course, everyone has their own preferences with audio, but if your looking for a great value... I would highly recommend giving these cans a listen.
If you look inside the port on the headphones you’ll see two little plastic pimples. get yourself a rounded file. its a round filing tool. like a chopstick with filing edges all around. hold the headphones upright and stick it in there and twist it and file down those pimples. do it with the headphones upright so any of the plastic shavings fall out don’t fall into the port. Now you should be able to use any 3.5 mm cord
@@johnviera3884 damn now I'm wondering if I could have done the same to some other gaming headphones I use to have and loved but had proprietary cable
