On the last interview Stuart did (R.IP.) he did mention this was part of a deleted DVD. The Dusk video got canceled and the first one was supposed to be Funeral in Carpathia! But we got From the Cradle to Enslave, instead (as their first official video ever). Plus, the "be quick or be dead" version of Funeral is the one featured on the E.P. from this live performance.
This one is taken from MTV's show "Most Wanted" and this particular performance is the first time I ever heard of Cradle Of Fuckin' Filth! MTV was still awesome in late 90's,VH1 broadcasted this later.
mihailo stajic Me same' i saw this and I could not believe what my eyes see and my ears listen to !!!!!!!!!!!!________________________________________________________________________the drummer was insane_____ 4:44 ____
I was 10 when I saw this on tv, And this was literally one of there best performances of this song back then. Now that I’m an adult rewatching this brings back memories on how good Danis vocals were.
+GrindYourFuckingGuts Barker is a like a big fat drumcomputer :P I liked his work when he was with Cradle, but it sounded very unorganic and machine like during Dimmu Borgir, here, he's great, a fucking monster, yes :P
I really admire him for always being around. I mean, he has alwayys done what he really wanted to, I guess. When Cradle didn't fit for him, he switched to Dimmu (not a fan, either) than to Old Man's Child, and than fucking Gorgoroth. How dope is that?! I just really admire him for giving his part to extreme music, while being totally humble (as it appears) and always doing a great job. Awesome man for sure.
Listen to V Empire here is where Barker becomes a Lead Drummer. Absolute Class of a Musician. Coming from a big Jazz Head. This band was incredible back in the 90's
I remember downloading this video on Limewire in roughly 2003, thinking it was the baddest thing ever. Man this song is still a jam, it still kicks all sorts of ass, and this version in particular.
As a COF fan since 1995 I can firmly at that Midian was AMAZING ...AMAZING. Principle to Midian were the most amazing stuff. However their last two albums Darkly and Witchcraft were really good. I just NEVER EVER want to hear that USA bandwagon fan shit like From the Cradle and Nemphtyamine.
And just remember, folks, this was two decades ago! Also, I like Cradle's most recent albums, 2015's 'Hammer of the Witches' and their original version of "Dusk... And Her Embrace,' which was originally recorded 21 years prior to being released. Not only do these two most recent releases show that the band's still got it, but it also shows how dedicated and faithful Dani Filth has been to his craft throughout the years.
Honestamente "Dusk and Her Embrace" no volverá a sonar con esa bruta naturalidad de aquellos tiempos. Aún así sigo fiel a Cradle of Filth incondicionalmente. ♥
Best live performance of this one that I know of. I know it has to be so hard for Dani to capture all of the ferocity of the highs he recorded in the studio but this performance he does a nice job.
3:00 - 3:17 ... that's probably one of the most EPIC guitar riffs I've ever heard.... Im not a big fan of this band... but I always listen to this song just to hear those few seconds of absolute madness .
I've seen them live and watched so many live videos of them, and I still maintain that this is the best vocal performance I've seen Dani give. I'm not a hater, but I've never been the biggest fan of his live vocals, especially in the past decade or so. His high scream only sounds good when he holds it out on a continuous note and sounds like a clown when he's trying to annunciate. His spoken word vocals are even pretty decent here where it is normally pretty cringe live.
Dusk was recorded earlier and was release later. It was supposed to be released under cacophonus? But relasead V empire insteas. Released dusk at music for nations label. Tracks were rearranged.
@ska2808 if you would ask me, i think damien is also good. but anyways, the keyborads play important role in this band. the keyboard player must be pretty damn good.. hails!
Shocked about amount of views, quality, coz its fakin greatocool record, sound is nice its ok, song is one of the best of CoF. Why so, where does this World go?
This is forever the best live performance from Cradle Of Filth for me
This and Astoria 98
I'm shocked. Album quality
astoria live have a place in my heart too

The best period of cradle of filth
1994-2000
Yes, yes, yes
Clearly
Pretty much
2014-2020
With nick barker on drums, for sure

Till this day, listening to Dani in this particular concert gives me the chills, the atmosphere is ...Black
This is the pinnacle.
Insane performance!! I hung out with Nicolas for like an hour, right after he had just left CoF, he was a super cool dude to chill with.
Lighting and all, this particular performance of the song was perfect.
they r the masters of metal and gothics
I know
My first contact with Cradle was this exacly vídeo in 2001,2002. I never found This again! Thank You so much!
Really not a Cradle fan, but holy shit @ Nicholas Barker. What an animal on the drums.
+GrindYourFuckingGuts Barker is a like a big fat drumcomputer :P I liked his work when he was with Cradle, but it sounded very unorganic and machine like during Dimmu Borgir, here, he's great, a fucking monster, yes :P

How can you not like Dusk and Her Embrace? You're a massive shithead or deaf.
Same with Stuart Ansist
One of the best performance's I have ever seen!
The intro tune is one of the best things Ive ever heard
Cradle of filth Fucking Rules! So Hard! So Brutal! So Perfect! One of the Best Symphonic Black Metal Band!
I remember downloading this video on Limewire in roughly 2003, thinking it was the baddest thing ever. Man this song is still a jam, it still kicks all sorts of ass, and this version in particular.
Good old days. I really miss waiting for the next COF album. I haven't done that since 2000.
MilitaIncognitus Hammer of the Witches, The Original Sin, and Cryptoriana are amazing. You should try them out
@@fredboy4661 Damnation and A Day is a Masterpiece, your are Deaf. For me their last true Manifestation.
@@eddiemperor Agreed Damnation And A Day Album is as a.... Lusifer of the Gorgeous Resurrcetion.
Now THIS is when they are the Gods. They are still great but this is amazingly Godlike.
wow I remember watching this video on Kazaa back in 2002. Talk about nostalgia.
one of the best performances!
\o/ Um dos melhores CD 😍
amo demais !!!!
my favourite live of all time
when cof did some some perfect melodic black metal. Now idk what to say. This album was far superior than their next ones
No. It wasn't.
+Rene Aensland Yes, it was
+Gammit Garm Dusk and Midian are my favorites and always will be. Everything after is still good, in its own way. :)
Dusk and Cruelty and the Beast are my favorites albums. The first COF albums are Master Pieces on Symphonic Black Metal.
When Cradle had dancing vampiric goth girls on stage!! 🤘
epic performance and the best live performance i can find on youtube from audio quality (malice through the looking glass included) from 1991 - 2000
Remember seeing them in 2006. Great band great songs. Oh and I still have the t-shirt

Wish they'd come back to this style of clothing and music, so good.
Honestamente "Dusk and Her Embrace" no volverá a sonar con esa bruta naturalidad de aquellos tiempos. Aún así sigo fiel a Cradle of Filth incondicionalmente. ♥
I remember watching this on mtv in 1997. Kickass performance!
This was easily their top lineup
Dani in is prime was unbelievably good!
Hell yeah!
Cool.... Good.... Great.... Perfect!!!!!! Cradle of Filth Forever!!!!!!!111111
Best live performance of this one that I know of. I know it has to be so hard for Dani to capture all of the ferocity of the highs he recorded in the studio but this performance he does a nice job.
2:44 OMG the chills!
Awesome old Cradle
@ska2808 On dusk, it wasn't lecter on keyboards, it was Greg, aka Damien. That was their best line-up EVER, in my opinion.
hahah you got me man... it was so much worthy having a live-video.
Stuart’s headbanging is so cool! 😎🎸
3:00 - 3:17 ... that's probably one of the most EPIC guitar riffs I've ever heard.... Im not a big fan of this band... but I always listen to this song just to hear those few seconds of absolute madness .
Yeah. Looks and sounds awesome
Melhor performace do Cradle ao vivo dessa música.

The old cradle of filth...
This is the all time greatest video on youtube ever!

Cradle at their best. I wish they still wore this style of clothing. It was so unique, gothic and vampyric. No one else has/had this look.
That girl dancing around in leather reminds me of Catwoman in Batman Returns
best line up❤❤
copy of copy of copy... that's really apparent in the quality of this video... still love track and performance
Nickolas Barker The Killer...
Fuck...Nicholas is an awesome drummer!!!....best line up Cradle ever had!!!
Best line up. Dusk to v empire.
Vempire came before Dusk and Her Embrace (Stuart era)
Dusk was recorded earlier and was release later. It was supposed to be released under cacophonus? But relasead V empire insteas. Released dusk at music for nations label. Tracks were rearranged.
Nicholas Barker aka Hammer of Gods
Woooow! I feel bats in my stomach when i listen to this song..... :) COF RULES!
Congratulations then
Sounds like a fuckin' great performance to me!
Definitely one of Cradles best live performances I've seen so far!
The scream from 1:10 is so epic!
Best scream ever from dani!
Nick Barker is amazing.
@ska2808 if you would ask me, i think damien is also good. but anyways, the keyborads play important role in this band. the keyboard player must be pretty damn good..

When cradle used to be a carnival act lol.😊😊
in the begining of the video, when appears the name of the song, it's writed ''Dust'' ... it have to be ''Dusk''
KKkkk
2020.
This is the verybest "be-quick-or-be-dead" version!
Anyone notice the marquis bar said “Dust” and not “Dusk”? Bet the band just loved that. Lol
Shocked about amount of views, quality, coz its fakin greatocool record, sound is nice its ok, song is one of the best of CoF. Why so, where does this World go?
I like their dress style here
Cont Daniel :) \m/
The feed on the screen entitled this song as: Dust and her embrace LOL
I've seen the drummer in a dimmu borgir
@ska2808 :'( I want lecter to come back to COF, Did you hear the Twisted nails of Faith at the end :'(
Nick Barker The daddy in the drums!
@ska2808 Yes,Lecter, Marvin, And Ashley are the best cof keyboard players!

Pure fucking poetry.
That's not Paul on the Warlock? O_o
It’s Stuart c:
The best line-up (with lecter) ^^ fucking amazing
Aka the Cruelty And The Beast lineup
Which is to say, I didn't know what year this recording was from. I know Paul wasn't on Cruelty, which was 1998?
1997
Eargasm, we meet again.
