I live in Scotland and bough a new bike yesterday so I’m hunting for places to ride and I came across this so if you visit we need to meet up at one point
My dad use to obsess about Scotland being that our family was from there. I've always had this thought about how cool it would be to mountain bike there. Now I have to. Dammit Brian... Lol
Your comment regarding how you’re always amazed how different and unique the trails are around the world. That’s one of the things I enjoy most about your channel, is getting to share in that experience.
I've said it before on a previous video, but I love watching you ride with zero ego. Seeing you push your riding with someone who may be in better shape or more experience and knowing when to stop, recharge your batteries, and have no shame, inspires me to ride with all different types of riders as long as I'm honest with my experience and fitness to others and myself. BTW, love your new Handup gloves...mine arrived about 5 days ago. If you ever make it to the Baltimore area, you have a place to crash.
I just love when those single tracks in UK trail centre looks like a freaking roller coaster ! Those section are just pure hapiness !!!! Keep the good ride Bryan !
Its really nice seeing a large youtuber ride my local trails, you were there at a great time aswell because it rains most of the time in the Tweedvalley
Towards the end of the video I found myself leaning into the turns while sitting in my chair. What a crazy looking loop. Thanks for another great video!
I have fallen off at the very same spot. Was about 8 inches on snow, came off the drop and them more or less landed on top of my pal who'd also fallen at the same spot. Glad you're enjoying it!
Hi yeah innerleithen is amazing.. I broke my ankle last year on the rock garden half way in, but after i got back up, i still rode and completed the whole ride...u can see my swollen ankle on strava. Uk is amazing for rides...u looked good n thanks for vid.
Great to see you riding the places I've literally rode more than any others, that area is the home of Scottish MTB. Beyond the trail centres too. Everything from nice mellow stuff for beginners up to shit your pants steep at the Golfie (the other side of Innerleithen) and everything in between. Scotland in the sun, the best place on earth!
When I was 14 I binned it in a big way right at 11:50 (went off that little rock step at mach 3 and straight into the stump in the middle). Ended up breaking my wrist, so my dad made a sling out of a jacket and we rode the rest of the way down on the fireroads. I went back the next year, and Inners cemented itself as my favourite trail centre red, the satisfaction of the long climb and descent is great. Nothing compared to the natural stuff around there though, I'm sure guy took you round plenty of that too!
Welcome to Scotland Brian ,my country can only be described as majestic and as you know the further north you go the more nuts the riding becomes thankfully after 25 years we’re not on fully rigid cannondales any more lol
Another great video from yourself. I'm super lucky that my wife is Scottish so I've gotten to ride some of its absolute gems. As good as B.C. in its own way. Guy is so right that we maybe a small island but we really do have some awesome riding. BTW Brian I'm totally with you on the eating thing! I have to eat masses before, during and after riding. Costs me a fortune in tasty trail snacks lol. Been following your vids for a few weeks now - I'm signing up to Patreon shortly. Well worth some love! Cheers!
Yo because of your videos and alot of thinking I went out and bought a 2018 polygon siskiu T7, as a 16 year old on minimum wage it was a big purchase but I'm so stoked about it, can't wait to get out and ride!
It’s almost nice to see you a bit more laboured on a UK Trail, some are a full body work-out!.. makes a nice change from seeing you whip round American trails... it gives me a bit more motivation when I’m almost bonking on trails!... great riding mate!.. and well done for bouncing right back after the off!...
Golfie trails on the behind Inners town are way better, check those out while your up there, would be a shame to miss those out. Also on that hill checkout Pro spaker and too hard for Ews.
Guy seems to be the perfect guide... thumbs up for the video and him!! Edinburgh is a nice city to visit... met a nice girl there some years ago... hehe!!
Never been to Innerleithen although I’ve been to glentress many times. I think I’ll double up and do both trail centres next time I’m there. Great video. Hope you enjoyed Great Britain 🇬🇧
BKXC it's like your going faster than you ever done on all your other is it the thinner air or are you getting fitter you might give Seth a run for his money
Great ride! I will add this place to my: "List of Things Brian K. Rode". Also, It's great that you get to compare and contrast the HB 211 vs your own Rallon.
Favorite place to ride. What a great question - Switzerland, NZL & Spain. Whistler & Squamish are too close to home. Like you say, every trail is different, every day brings new experiences. The rain always put me off the UK as a riding destination so the mountain biking gods were on your side for this trip.
Another great ride captured on video, thanks Brian. The 7 Stanes are a must for any mountain biker, just don’t drink too much in an Indian restaurant the night before a ride 🤪
Good video mate. Next time you visit Inners/GT I'd recommend getting a local to show you around. The official loops are great but the off piste trails are truly amazing in comparison!
yeah boii sikk videos. i love your channel brian i'd mountain bike if i never found you but i got into the gimbals and gopros bc i saw the possibility after discovering your channel in early 2017. good ishh
When you guys were talking about wheel sizes.....I began thinking yeah how about 27.5 plus, 29 plus and hub spacing. The MTB world changes fast. It seems more difficult to find 100mm and 142mm hubs/wheels and 100mm forks(spacing). Great video!
Going to Innerleithen and riding that loop of trail is like going to Italy and only eating cornflakes...... so much proper riding in that area as well.
dude you have been so lucky with the weather, you dont even understand the luck ahha
Haha, I definitely understand!
is guy taking you to the south of england, surrey hills?
bruh, i live in Scotland for last few months, dont remember having weather like this.
Scotland looks epic! Need to make a trip there one day :)
I hope you do!
its always raining
Only for 356 days of the year...
@@willinsley2457 don't come weather terrible ;)
It's amazing here
This video makes me feel very lucky to live in Innerleithen with these amazing trails right in my doorstep 👍
It's pretty amazing up there!
Such a good video, scotland look's great, i really need to go there.
So do i
I live there, but it's always wet :)
I live in Scotland and bough a new bike yesterday so I’m hunting for places to ride and I came across this so if you visit we need to meet up at one point
sam Deacon i live in england and dont have many trails nearby :(
I love that someone from the states has so much good stuff to say about my home country and home trails! Thanks dude :D
My dad use to obsess about Scotland being that our family was from there. I've always had this thought about how cool it would be to mountain bike there. Now I have to. Dammit Brian... Lol
Hahah yes!
Your comment regarding how you’re always amazed how different and unique the trails are around the world. That’s one of the things I enjoy most about your channel, is getting to share in that experience.
So dang cool that it's possible!
I've said it before on a previous video, but I love watching you ride with zero ego. Thanks man, it's always scary to share my shortcomings but I know it makes a deeper impact.
Who needs roller coasters when you have trails like that.
Amen to that!
Thanks for bringing us along, Brian. Great riding!
Glad you dug it Roy!
Beautiful riding there. Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks for coming!
Awesome. Love the little extras around the town's and scenery. Build's the story of traveling to ride.
Nice!
I just love when those single tracks in UK trail centre looks like a freaking roller coaster ! Those section are just pure hapiness !!!! Keep the good ride Bryan !
Pretty awesome riding!

Heading to Scotland in July, your planning my trip for me with these videos!

I feel the envy setting in again. lol BTW...great line, Guy! "if you're a pinner, you're a pinner whatever you happen to be on"
Haha, always the envy!
Man those trails look insane!
Pretty sweet!
Mountain biking followed by a spicy Ruby Murray at the local Indian. Life doesn't get much better than that. Watching this makes me feel homesick.
Haha yep!!
Yeaahhh come to Spain, glad to see that you loved it!
It's great!
Guy seems to be the perfect guide... thumbs up for the video and him!! Edinburgh is a nice city to visit... met a nice girl there some years ago... hehe!!

That Scottish air!
Holy crap when you were talking about the iPhone and you said Foock my eyes blew open.
Loved this thanks, loving your reactions to the UK. No idea how you ride so fast without dying either :-)
Haha thanks James
Great ride! I will add this place to my: "List of Things Brian K. Rode". Also, It's great that you get to compare and contrast the HB 211 vs your own Rallon.

It’s 2021, 27.5 bikes are still rocking! 🤟🤣🤣
Basque MTB is awesome! I've know Doug since before he moved out to Spain.

Brian, put me down for a muscle fight t-shirt 💪. Classic! Another great video by the way.
Hahaa yes
I have a Giant Trance 2 (looks like what Guy's riding) and I love the bike. Just does everything really well and for the $$$ you can't beat the value.
Awesome!
Yum Yum did a great review on that bike as well. Looking forward to seeing your GMBN collab from your POV.
Living the life, such a great video, seems to me mountain bike people are all the same no matter were you are in the world.
Exactly!
YES...STUNNING
