One small detail I've noticed throughout this campaign that nobody seems to be talking about, is the font used for the closed captions is the same font from Ghosts
I noticed this right away!
I like the ending of COD Ghost more since it was something new and refreshing with all new characters and story.

I still can't get over the fact that Soap stuck a knife into Makarov's neck and he was still able to fight off Soap AND Price! Absolute garbage way to kill one of the most important members of TF141!

I just saw the video and while it doesn’t go through his neck the knife seems to go in between where his top shoulder and collar bone is (kinda exactly where John Wick got stabbed at the start of 3rd film) and while it’s not deadly at first and you can fight someone off with the adrenaline it does need to get treated very fast cause a very important artery is there that takes blood to the head
@@mniakan754 The chances of someone taking a combat knife to that area and STILL having the strength to fight off 2 grown men is highly unlikely. Not to mention he used THAT same shoulder to brush off Soap lol! Unless he was under some sort of drug? Which is usually the case with these whacked out terrorist types lol!
They just wanted to recreate the MW2 ending and twist it around that Soap's knife save price, but he dies instead of the bad guy. 😐
When Shepard said “It’ll come back to haunt you” I was thinking he might be talking about the Ghosts, also because Ghosts “haunt” you

why would the ghosts go after Captain price after killing a United States Army General
Call of Duty: Ghosts was originally called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Ghosts, so it'll make sense to make a tie in the current universe.
I like how in COD Vanguard they added Rorke and a character skin for one of the operators and the jacket he has on also has the GHOST skull on the back of the jacket.
Logan meets Makarov and Rourke teaming up while TF141 is looking for them both
141 would rather kill Rorke than join him, along with the ghosts and shadow company

What everyone seems to miss here is that unless ghosts gets a full fledged reboot there's no possibility of ghosts existing in the current universe.

In my mind, it would be the coolest campaign if Task Force STALKER assists “Ghost Team” (Disavowed 141) in killing Makarov.
Yep, that's literally the theory I explained in the comment section of the last video (and there's even a deeper meaning to it, see the comment bellow)
As Simon is hiding his previous identity, the TF141 will have to hide their previous identity after killing Shepherd and perhaps Graves. Don't forget that this cutscene with Price murdering Shpherd may happen in the middle of MW4 (as the no russian cutscene from MWII happens 1 year later in the middle of the MWIII events).
So perhaps at this point in MW4, Price and TF141 disavowed already went to kill Graves (as Price mentionned "after him i'm coming to you").
Laswell may help hide their traces by censoring the mission reports and so on.
As I said last week in Soap's video:
"From Soap's death, Price kills Shepherd and then TF141 get disavowed.
And as the snippet shown in MWII, when regular authorities are chasing TF141, they ultimately become Ghost team. This time, this Ghost team will not only be lead by the will to make a greater world but essentially by vengeance coming from Soap's death.
They will fight according to the ideals of Soaps in this new unit : 1st: As a team like Soap taught Ghost and 2nd with no mercy towards the enemy as Soap taught Price.
So in other words, Soap's death will trigger the creation of the rebooted Ghost team."

Don't see this theory or INKs playing out.
For the simple fact that, that story of 141 being betrayed and disavowed has essentially already taken place in mw2.
What Shepard and Shadow company did to 141 betraying them and trying to kill them is public knowledge.
They know Shepard is not innocent. Infact he's a liability. 2 sets of missiles he gave away illegally were stolen and nearly used to kill civilians. One was used to kill Russians. The fact that price got into the office of Shepard with Laswells (who works for the CIA) help suggests that at some level Shepard's death was sanctioned by the US government. Possibly even to appease the Russians. After their troops were killed by a US missile.
with Makarov out their 141 are the best asset they have.and they have a CIA handler to back up their version of events.
I estimate Shepard's death will be tragic "suicide" guilt ridden by his actions or to avoid charges.
I still think some Ghosts characters will have minor roles or cameos in future seasons
It suck’s what happened to soap! I wish he was in mw2019 more only 2 games well technically 3 at the end of mw2019 still he needed more screen time. He was my favorite in the franchise.

The reason why they have not shown up is because they don’t exit or at least that’s what the army says to you when you mention Delta,there out doing you know delta stuff

In the original we see them appear during that time
This is how I’d make a reboot of ghosts: In MW4 Makarov kills the whole TF141 except of Ghost. He avenges his fallen brothers and kills Makarov. In the end of MW4 Ghost transforms TF141 into into a Ghost Team with new recruits being Merrick, Keegan, Elias, Rork and Mace
So they kill price and Kyle who are more important than Ghost?

Fr , I think the story is decent for the amount of time they had to make it. So I understand that it was rushed. But I hope they stop rushing games out
Their games are so inconsistent, in mwll they focused on Mexico but only gave Urzikstan 1 mission and in mwlll they gave Urzikstan a good amount of focus but they forgot about Mexico, when will they be consistent

It would be cool to play as Ghost and have Logan, Hesh, Keegan, and Merrick with you in a stealth mission and in the last mission of the game Riley start chomping at Makarov's arm while you shoot him in the heart like you did with Rorke also Rorke is still a traitor and gives away information about Ghost squad to Konni and in this timeline instead of the Federation torturing Ajax for information about the Ghosts its Konni that does. Perhaps Makarov kills Elias or commands Rorke to kill him. I loved Ghosts and I want to see it return in some way (and admittedly I liked both MW trilogies and I'm nerding out right now)
When you see Riley you should go back and try and get a look at the owners face it might be one of the brothers or the dad from cod ghost

Cod ghosts had one of the best campaigns with an okay multiplayer. It left many players to wonder what will happen to Logan. Will he be brainwashed like Rorke or will the Ghosts rescue Logan?

My theory , in the final mission where we can pet Riley and what I think is that we see Riley before he chosen to be in the military after the events of mw3 and how we see him in cod ghosts. Now, cod ghosts takes place in 2027 and cod 2024, cod 2025 are leaked to be developed treyach and they might change it so cod ghosts that cod ghosts takes place in 2026
My first video I saw of inkslashers was mw19s mw and ghost crossover woth all the ghost mask and I always loved that theory I'm glad there's more evidence for it

And Another Theory I've always had was Rook was Brainwashed like Alex Mason but at the time Black Ops wasn't a crossover with MW but it made so much sense to me. .
They should have made call of duty a shared universe hopefully they are going in that direction.
Call of duty is a shared universe now. Every Gabe from mw19 to now is in the sane universe. As well as WaW and BO1 and as far as we know BO2.
The problem is not every Gabe fits into the current universe. Continuity is a big issue
That's the issue with ghosts it doesn't fit into the current universe it would need a reboot

Damn, I never thought about this. I could see the Ghosts cast carrying on the TF 141 legacy.
They could’ve made this reboots Shepherd into an anti hero type. That despite being so argumental with Price and Laswell, Shepherd cares for his task force like the stoic father figure he plays as. Maybe he manages as a general before turning back into his Overlord persona of the old MW trilogy. Seeing him as an old Overlord communicator. And that he makes his own ghost team. That a death of soap or Gaz causes him and Price to turn task force 141 going darker than before. No needing of red tape. Underground. Nomadic militias.
Or hopefully instead of mw4 its teasers for finally getting my god damn ghost 2
Next game will feature roarke and elias fighting alongside ghost and price ??? Perfect tie in???? Then make it black ops 2 style where that’s flashbacks and in current day david mason, price ghost go to save Logan?

I can’t tell whether they have been dropping hints since the reboot started (Riley as a takedown, Mace being another skull mask operator, all the MWII preorder skins being skull masks on the main operators) or if they just like throwbacks to make money.
With the call of duty universe being reset and merged, this would be a great idea to see. MODERN WARF4RE: Ghosts, a split campaign rewrite of the origins of Ghost team. And hopefully a better ending than the cliffhanger that never got resolved last time.

Normally you would think if someone died in your squad you recruit another member this would be perfect to bring roach into taskforce 141, you also made a video of roach that everyone forgotten and in that video it shows roach and soap new each other, yes this reboot timeline but they can still add roach in the next MW and join 141 because he found out about soaps death and because they new each other could also build a story how they had a long friendship and could join 141 to take down makarov

Completely agree with this theory. Just recently I realized ghosts took place in 2027. It lines up with a MW4 in 2026 and Ghosts 2027. Still the same three year cycle so 2026 would be infinity wards turn.

keep them separate. The Ghost operators are the most badass group of characters and Rorke was a true villian. That storyline deserves to be finished as a stand a lone

I want a Ghosts 2, but honestly, I think we are just going to get the Makarov loose end dealt with in the Warzone updates like they did in the last 2 MW games. Like they will just do something similar to what they did in Cold War with Stitch. Just the 141 chasing down leads to find Makarov only for it to end like it did with Stitch.
How I wish they would make MW4 instead of MWIV that can't fit with COD:Ghosts because there was the Odin strike in 2017.
MW4 could fit in january 2017 after Makarov's death and before the Odin Strikes in mid 2017.
This would totally make sense in the timeline.
I feel the next game will tie in with Cold War - the Modern Warfare series keeps inching closer to Cold War's post-campaign Warzone story.
I was kind of hoping the ghost outfits from MW2 was going to be in the campaign for MW3 and them going forward with being ghosts.
i have a theory about soap coming back, and then dying again in cod mw3.
so soap, in cod mw2 remastered is the actual john "soap" mactavish, and the mw2 and mw3 soap, is just using that name.
its kind of like ghost's invicibility, when one dies, someone else puts on the mask. thats whhy he never took it off until mw2.
so maybe the MW2 REM soap is actually soap. and MW3 soap, is someone else hiding under that name. i could be entirely wrong but to me it makes sense.

People seem to forget that the very start of ghosts WHERE THE USA IS ESSENTIALLY DECIMATED takes place in 2017 (2year before MW1)

Feel like I'm the only one who thinks the ghosts and MW universe could combine. And drumroll......Ghost is logan walker(obviously changed his name etc) back when the playable character never spoke or bearly saw their face.
Ghost will live in MW4 and after MW4 to create the Ghosts team with the renaining TF141.

The way they are going with the story it seems like it settings up ghosts I think price is going to die while killing makarov and ghosts is going to be the last one from 141 and get his own unit which will be ghosts with a new storyline but will try to tie it in with mw storyline key point price already killed shepherd and he was the one who killed ghost in original and ppl been calling for a sequel of ghosts

It won't make sense because in BO2 (which takes place in 2025), it's full of technology and if Ghost were to be a part of it, then wouldn't Ghost also have Technology? With Black Ops, Modern Warfare and Ghosts are connected, it's confusing
