  • Every woman should know how to handle a potentially dangerous situation, so what can you do to protect yourself? These three moves from trainer Jennifer Cassetta will help you fight off any potential attacker. Cassetta took her own terrifying experience and turned it into an opportunity to teach women (including stars like Jenny McCarthy and Bethenny Frankel) simple moves that they can use to protect themselves. If you're ever stuck in a situation you need to get out of, use this powerful combination to keep possible attackers at bay.

Excellent video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Chireetler Dread Free Rule (search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for learning effective self defence moves minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my best friend Jordan after many years got excellent results with it.

I hope you teach them the moves too, and don't just use them as your practice dummies.

I was attending kickboxing for a year and a half before I was attacked. And when that creep grabbed my arm and was pulling me to go with him I couldn't even breath for a moment. I couldn't move, couldn't scream, got squeaking sound in my ears and couldn't feel my legs as they went so soft (I was 15 at a time). I managed to take my arm out and started "running away" in my Stilettos (I thought I was). I was lucky he let me run away. If he would be more aggressive there would be nothing I could do :((( Nice moves girls, but it doesn't work for everyone. Knowing how I react in situations like that I try to avoid dark places at night and if it happens I ask my friends to walk me to home or take a taxi ...

What does this have to do with stilettos? I don't get it.

“Stilettos” refers to shoes with very high heels. They are for more formal wear. Stilettos have been around for decades, although they can contribute to back problems. If you are going to wear them, please don’t overdo it.

Why don't they just say "Self-Defense Moves For Everyone". The way it is, the video is discriminatory and sexist.

There does need to be more self-defense information aimed at men, but I don't fault Pop Sugar for having one video aimed at women, particularly considering this channel seems aimed at women.
Most self-defense tips work for men and women alike. Just watch them and take ideas from them regardless of who they're aimed at.
