Start here and select the country from the list postcalc.usps.com/Calculator/ Please keep in mind that under 4 lbs you're usually best off sending 1st class mail and at 4 lbs + priority is usually cheaper. 1st class mail tho has no tracking and insurance and you can't put in a claim if your package gets lost. Hope that helps!

thats why you pay people like her to third party logistics your services so hopefully you get a big discount due to consolidation with other customers. just think of it as running an exotic secret store.
The Incoterms rule DDU was eliminated in the 2010 revision of Incoterms. It was replaced with DAP, Delivered at Place. For international shipments they are practically identical. The DAP rule does what the DDU term did.
Please don't ship puppies by mail.

I have potential clients all over the world that want my products and services...but the shipping is so dang expensive. How come when I get something shipped from china, shows shipping as $10, but when I wanna ship to England or Australia, it's like $200??? How can I make shipping more affordable to take on the international customers?

I have the same problem. Try using www.goshippo.com and link it to your store. That might help. Otherwise ask your local postal office about international shipping

Sort of helpful. Got a much better picture going to the website. Just going to say what i and most people want (i think) is to know how to get a good package at cheap price that can go anywhere and wont scare a customer from buying a product due to the shipping cost without having to do a ton of research. Also i don't want the shipping cost to kill profit on my end. That being said i like shippo's website and thanks for the information.

Hi, I need some help with Shopify shipping. I am based in Australia but my products are in our warehouse in Uruguay (Uruguayn products). So I need to setup shipping from Uruguay to Australia (All of Australia) and USA.

How would you ship to Iran? I have a friend i would like to send a gift to but not sure how i would fill out the cn22 document.. would I have to fill out the form in Persian Farsi as i dont think they eccept english as a language? Also would like to cover any customs charges so my friend doesnt get lumbered with any bills.
make sure you export from a legal country as well since Iran might not accept anything from certain nations or you might be arrested by said nation if you export to Iran. Farsi is not a bad idea, as long as you keep in context who you are dealing with and your home nations language as well. Just don't do anything that takes time to sort out.

Umm..sounds like a cool company, but why did the young lady not put any form of postage or paper customs form *on* her package? She also doesn't tape it up.

OK! Hopefully, someone can help me here. Recently, I received a return package for something I shipped to Australia from US Postal Office with comments from driver of "Incomplete Custom Form" and "Insufficient Description. I have filled out both sender and receiver name and our addresses completely. The only thing I can think of that would cause the return of package to my house would be I checked off the "Merchandise" box instead of "Gift" or "Other" and entering only the word "Sporting Garments" for description along with quantity of items, weight, and total value. Will I have to end up paying a new shipping fee since didn't really get help from Postal office staff. Also, my relative provide an Australia address with the city of both "Mitcham" and "Melbourne". I am still not sure if including the word "Melbourne" in the Form 2976-R for mailing either complicates, or the exclusion of it would cause shipment not to reach final destination by including "Melbourne" somewhere in the recipient address.

Asha C. Yes with your state you reside in. You have to comply with all state and national giveaway rules in order to hold one and sign some legal things. It’s a process. I’ve never done it for myself but my team does it for me.
Zoey and Sabrina okay so what about this. My business, and a couple other businesses entered into a giveaway for a TH-camr. We all stated that we only do domestic shipping. Then she told us the person that won the giveaway was in Nigeria. I would be spending 1/3 of my monthly profit to afford to send my item to Nigeria. Is there some type of legal way that I can tell them that they can’t do that?

you don't know what a bill of lading is do you? chances are that you were not selling anything of value. usually imported commercial goods are regulated for various reasons and the customs stations need to justify with the government at hand their costs and community need. vendor taxes are usually a good way to finance their expenses such as wages and equipment.

What we are trying to find out is may she semd some usa candy, cotton candy, capstick, kids make up set and bubble bath? It will all be in a box with kids clothing, toys and colour in books. hi there!! sooo..that means DHL international work together with USPS? Because when I ship from here( germany) using DHL To Usa, goes fast in the plain...and once that arrive there (Usa) take time to go my customer. Why? btw its very expencive here ship to usa.

FYI when you insure AKA declare value, its not insurance but rather standard carrier liability. Insurance is a different conversation.
