- NEW CD OUT NOW: ben-maton-musi... Bach composed this wonderful piece for the season of Advent, but it remains one of his most popular works and a favourite for wedding services and funerals.
The hymn tune melody, which appears at 45 seconds (played by an oboe stop), is cleverly interweaved by Bach around the famous opening theme. A gentle pedal bass line accompanies.

Having been raised in an Anglican Church in S Indian in the 60s your music is very nostalgic and close to my heart,I have watched most of episodes listened to you organ music over the last few months ,your talent ,passion and knowledge is most pleasing to watch. That was beautiful organ playing. He filmed the whole thing himself.
The window is lovely. It was only a few seconds. Maybe next time he’ll make sure to feature the door to the toilets or something. So it’s not so corny.
