Upscale dinner and such. Mostly adults were there to support LGBTQ. Maybe only few knew who she was. Many fans wanted to go but it wasn't affordable for any. Usually there would be no mics set up to capture audience sounds at such events. Even their cameras were stationary and limited. This was not something like the Oscars. And really what's so beautiful is how she navigates the circumstances as well as her spontaneous on stage arrangementing. She really doesn't need approval anyway, her own ear and personal vibe gives her the feed back she relies on.
Amazing how she can totally change this song into one of the greatest Jazz songs I've heard in years!!! Her voice, her maturity in her delivery, everything about this spells out a legend emerging, right before our eyes!!!
Too right! I've noticed from the off that she had a jazzy bend to her vocalizing, the way she plays around with the consonants.....just molding them into what ever she wants! And that is what's so refreshing, so, so, so Grace! I'm loving it! Although I like her "Pop" sound, this new jazzy-ness shows not only how much she's growing musically, but how deep her talent is. and we are the lucky ones who get to go along for the ride!

I just love how Grace has created a jazzy version of her own pop song. She is so talented. And yes she really seems to know how to control the song by signalling the pauses to her band.
