I've heard a lot of Elphaba's sing this song and many of them have in put their own highlights but nobody in all of Oz has put it all together so comprehensively, so vocally perfect as Morissette.
To be honest, you need to be a good singer and performer to do musical theatre. I remember judges complaining on The Voice that a contestant was in danger of being "too musical theatre". One thing I've come to realize about Morissette is that she doesn't just sing a song, she makes you feel different feelings and emotions when she sings it, depending on what kind of song it is, and that's the sign of a true artist. In this one, she gets into the character of it, and you almost feel like you're watching a Broadway style play.

Here is one that I found that is actually a video that Mori's boyfriend Dave Lamar produced of he and Mori doing a cover of Ed Sheeran/Justin Bieber's "I Don't Care". Dave is actually a fantastic singer as well and the video is shot at home in the Philippines on Mori/Daves beautiful property using Daves "new" drone from what I understand. They dedicated it to the real STAR of the video...their adorable little Beagle puppy Luna who so sadly passed away from a puppy disease. Damn! I've seen Wicked twice in NYC and Boston and this girl Morrissette's cover is much more impressive, that high note at the end, Wow!
