@@trevinodude Would it really though? X, above all, wants the fighting between humans and reploids to stop. Who's to say he wouldn't eventually go "enough is enough"? Seeing as (unlike Zero) he hasn't shown feats of being immune, or even resistant to the Maverick Virus? In my opinion, (as much as I love X as a character) saying he could never fall would claim X is infallible, and that would make him boring.
@@StressmanFIN It’s not that X is infallible… more that I find it to be more inspiring that X COULD go enough is enough, but had enough willpower to stay on the path, even when it seemed hopeless. X7 showed that even X had his limits on fighting, but he rejoined the fight once it became clear that it was the only way to save innocent people and Reploids for example. Like Spider-Man, for instance, sure he’s not perfect. The symbiote shows us just how much darkness Peter Parker can have, but in the end… he never quite falls completely into the darkness. It’s inspiring that he could pull himself back up. Seeing X go all Darth Vader would indeed ruin the character because in the end, it would just make X into Sigma 2.0, not Mega Man X. At least that’s how I see it.

My only problem with this... Is well... Sadly if Zero era characters existed that means X8 and subsequently Command Mission aren't canon, wouldn't blame anyone for not knowing considering Zero series and X Command Mission take place both in 22xx and before anyone asks about X8 it's kind of odd, but because of the space elevator being made WAY sooner in the MegaMan timeline it would eliminate the purpose of Elysium in MegaMan Legends. Even if Legends takes place potentially thousands of years after ZX (24xx if memory serves correctly).

If there were to be an megaman zero 5, i hope that they don't toss the narrative away since the 4 that we got were basically, 1-3 the story itself and the 4 is the epilogue, if i were to bet, i think that the 5th one would be an alternative ending to the epilogue that in the end reveals itself to be the true ending because post megaman zero 4 it is unsure of zero's whereabouts, some manga say that he is wandering in the world without his helmet or simply dead, the latter is majorly believed but again we can't say for sure on what has happened in 23XX or between zero 4 and zx in the OG megaman timeline (classic, x, zero, zx and legends), some fan-games have some interpretations, but officially we only got some bits of info like: 1. Creation of the guardians by ciel 2. Creation of biometals 3. Equality between reploids and humans.
In summary: 1. Zero 5 would be nice in the role of an alternate ending of the Ragnarok crashing or the role of an true ending 2. An game in the OG timeline set in 23XX would be nice to see, because we almost never anything that has happened in this timeframe
Very nice! The MMZ Soundfont works pretty well for this song... One minor thing i noticed, though, at the start, there's a little bit of clashing with the 2 motifs, where one note will be playing and then another note will play slightly above, not in the same key, and it sounds a little off, maybe could have been fixed by changing the key of the second motif, but other than that, this is really nice!

I was working on an X vs Zero animation in the MMZ style. I’ve since scrapped the project due to the fact that I was animating on Scratch and was getting frustrated with it crashing, but also lack of motivation. This song would’ve been perfect for that video if I finished it.

That would have been interesting, because X would become a villain. I do think the original ending was supposed to be the "Zero goes Maverick" ending. It would explain well why X became a dictator - Dr. Light wipes X's memory of Zero. Zero was X's mentor in the first three games, without Zero's influence, X lost a huge chunk of his life influence. X might also be more of a well-intentioned villain rather than the obviously evil and misguided villain Copy X was. I think X would be a bad guy at first but redeem himself later on (say, on the 2nd or 3rd game) when he realizes the truth, and the reveal wouldn't be "Zero is in a copy body" but that Zero actually went Maverick in X5. Alternatively, the reveal is that this Zero is truly a total fake, not just the body. It would also mean no Elf Wars narrative. We might have no Weil, or Weil might actually be Wily.
@austinreed7343 That's a good alternative. The original concept for Weil was an young guy. Perhaps Weil here is Ciel's opposite, another genetically engineered prodigy. But evil and young, because there's no Elf Wars. By the same cue, Weil finds Omega, which parallels Ciel - they both find Zero, but one finds the legendary hero (copy body made by Light?), the other finds Omega The God of Destruction (AKA Zero's original broken corpse) and rebuilds him. Maybe X gets killed in the Alt!MMZ and returns in MMZ3, thinking he has to take down the ULTRA DANGEROUS MAVERICK ZERO (because dying made him recover the memories and Weil manipulated him), but X eventually realizes he was manipulated and remembers Zero The Friend, but doesn't die like CopyX did - the bomb is still there, he just doesn't throw an angry tantrum. So Alt!MMZ2 is about Zero fighting the Guardians and Elpizo (X is probably not holding the Dark Elf here), Omega is still a thing, Dark Elf is either not a thing or a new invention by Weil, and a regretful X joins the Resistance against Weil when he realizes Dr. Light essentially lobotomized him to forget Zero. We might get bigger depth on the Guardians as well.
We'll see, I'm still new to remixing/composing and it's mostly just what I'm able to work on during the free time I have when I'm not working and/or in college. I'll probably open up requests (and maybe commissions) when I have a more definitive schedule though!

From the image, it seems more like Zero has to fight a fully Maverick X and kill him for real. Imagine that scenario.
My only problem with this... Is well... Sadly if Zero era characters existed that means X8 and subsequently Command Mission aren't canon, wouldn't blame anyone for not knowing considering Zero series and X Command Mission take place both in 22xx and before anyone asks about X8 it's kind of odd, but because of the space elevator being made WAY sooner in the MegaMan timeline it would eliminate the purpose of Elysium in MegaMan Legends. Even if Legends takes place potentially thousands of years after ZX (24xx if memory serves correctly).
@@aarondevack1912 X8 is canon, it's that Axl most likely bites the dust during the Elf Wars sadly, along with the Space Elevator being destroyed at some point

If there were to be an megaman zero 5, i hope that they don't toss the narrative away since the 4 that we got were basically, 1-3 the story itself and the 4 is the epilogue, if i were to bet, i think that the 5th one would be an alternative ending to the epilogue that in the end reveals itself to be the true ending because post megaman zero 4 it is unsure of zero's whereabouts, some manga say that he is wandering in the world without his helmet or simply dead, the latter is majorly believed but again we can't say for sure on what has happened in 23XX or between zero 4 and zx in the OG megaman timeline (classic, x, zero, zx and legends), some fan-games have some interpretations, but officially we only got some bits of info like:
1. Creation of the guardians by ciel
2. Creation of biometals
3. Equality between reploids and humans.
In summary:
1. Zero 5 would be nice in the role of an alternate ending of the Ragnarok crashing or the role of an true ending
2. An game in the OG timeline set in 23XX would be nice to see, because we almost never anything that has happened in this timeframe

Very nice! The MMZ Soundfont works pretty well for this song...
One minor thing i noticed, though, at the start, there's a little bit of clashing with the 2 motifs, where one note will be playing and then another note will play slightly above, not in the same key, and it sounds a little off, maybe could have been fixed by changing the key of the second motif, but other than that, this is really nice!

I was working on an X vs Zero animation in the MMZ style. I’ve since scrapped the project due to the fact that I was animating on Scratch and was getting frustrated with it crashing, but also lack of motivation. This song would’ve been perfect for that video if I finished it.

what happens if X becomes the Final boss in Megaman Zero, not Copy X.
That would have been interesting, because X would become a villain.
I do think the original ending was supposed to be the "Zero goes Maverick" ending. It would explain well why X became a dictator - Dr. Light wipes X's memory of Zero. Zero was X's mentor in the first three games, without Zero's influence, X lost a huge chunk of his life influence. X might also be more of a well-intentioned villain rather than the obviously evil and misguided villain Copy X was.
I think X would be a bad guy at first but redeem himself later on (say, on the 2nd or 3rd game) when he realizes the truth, and the reveal wouldn't be "Zero is in a copy body" but that Zero actually went Maverick in X5. Alternatively, the reveal is that this Zero is truly a total fake, not just the body.
It would also mean no Elf Wars narrative. We might have no Weil, or Weil might actually be Wily.
I could see that happening with Weil managing to reprogram X into a true Maverick.

The original concept for Weil was an young guy. Perhaps Weil here is Ciel's opposite, another genetically engineered prodigy. But evil and young, because there's no Elf Wars. By the same cue, Weil finds Omega, which parallels Ciel - they both find Zero, but one finds the legendary hero (copy body made by Light?), the other finds Omega The God of Destruction (AKA Zero's original broken corpse) and rebuilds him.
Maybe X gets killed in the Alt!MMZ and returns in MMZ3, thinking he has to take down the ULTRA DANGEROUS MAVERICK ZERO (because dying made him recover the memories and Weil manipulated him), but X eventually realizes he was manipulated and remembers Zero The Friend, but doesn't die like CopyX did - the bomb is still there, he just doesn't throw an angry tantrum.
So Alt!MMZ2 is about Zero fighting the Guardians and Elpizo (X is probably not holding the Dark Elf here), Omega is still a thing, Dark Elf is either not a thing or a new invention by Weil, and a regretful X joins the Resistance against Weil when he realizes Dr. Light essentially lobotomized him to forget Zero.
We might get bigger depth on the Guardians as well.
