How to add turn signal indicators to your Holley Dash

  • In this video, I go over adding turn signal indicators to a 6.8" Holley Pro Dash. Nobody wants to be driving down the road with your signals flashing. At least with this, you don't have an excuse. It could not be easier, it's just adding two wires to the I/O connector and splicing them into the existing turn signal wiring in your car.
    Easily add inputs or outputs to your Holley Dash, or other Holley connector with this kit. It provides 5 wires with pre-crimped terminals. www.summitraci...

    You can select a symbol instead of status LED and select the Left/Right arrow and change the color to green. Just an FYI, great video!

    Also, what cable is used to hook the gauges to a lap top? the USB to CAN which came with the gauges or just a USB to USB cable. My old eyes dont like the small lettering on the gauge setups and would rather use a lap top. Thanks again man and keep the videos coming.

    So I am new to the Holley gauges and have the Terminator I will eventually switch too. I have been watching your vids and find them very helpful. Can you tell me which pin to use on the 6.86 for the tach input? I have the 6014 MSD but I am unsure of which pin to use to get the tach in the gauges to work. Thank you for the great vids and keep them coming!

      IO 11, 12, SPD 1, and SPD 2. Those inputs are in pins 23, 32, 33, and 3r respectively. I hope this helps.

    Thanks for the video. Maybe I missed it, but how were you able to use a mouse with your pro dash?

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. It's just a cheap USB mouse that I got at Walmart, I removed the thumb drive and plugged the mouse into that adapter cord that plugs into the USB-C ports in the back of the dash.

    I’m looking to buy the 7” dash. Do it come with the wires for this hook up? I’m running a Holley sniper efi system already.

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have any experience with the 7", just the 6.8". The dash did come with the main harness, which has the power, ground, CANbus. It also came with a USB-C to USB-A cable which is used for a flash drive to log, transfer files (like how I made the custom background), or use a mouse to aid in configuring the dash. The 6.8" also comes with a GPS antenna and the coaxial cord for that. Anything else is extra and does not come with the dash.

      @@TrailerParkMotorsports so u purchased a separate wire to hook up the blinkers? Bc I have a few extra I/O wires that come off the main harness to the ecu (sniper efi) but not sure if I can use those

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used this kit for the IO wires. The pins can be purchased in bulk as well, I just keep forgetting about them.

      Do you mean the tach that is an RPM gauge on the prodash, or do you mean tack as in an auto meter or other aftermarket brand tach?

    Your led’s were blinking- couldn’t you just use them for turn indicators or flashers?

      I could, but the steering wheel blocks them.

      Trailer Park Motorsports I want to use them1&4 for turn, 2&3 for hazard. Can u set up led inputs in the screen menu? I just got the dash and am wiring my car interface. I like your vids- straight and to the point

      I'm sure that you can, it's just not something that I've tried. When I turn on the hazards the same indicators flash as the turn signals. I essentially just replaced the bulbs in the stock cluster for the indicators on the dash.
