Oh you young whippersnappers! The 'thing' that Barb thought might be a shaver is...(drum roll please)...a flash attachment for a camera. Way back in the day, cameras needed extra light in dark situations. That attachment connected to the camera and then one would insert a flash bulb into the center and voila...when the button was pushed, the bulb would flash providing the necessary light. Guess my old age has paid off in wisdom about unknown items in the antique mall.

Loved riding horses around the pyramids and even sat on a camel.🐪 While visiting Karnak Instead of taking tour bus to Valley of Kings we choose to ride donkeys with a guide. Experienced so much more than tour bus could ever have offered. Copper, Brass and Gold is in abundance at huge bazaar in Cairo. Scuba diving the Red Sea was breath taking. Such beauty & at that time tourism wasn't set up at Sharm el Sheik and reef's seemed untouched. We hope to revisit someday.

My husband and I were going through some boxes he packed away after his mom died and Bingo beautiful brass candle holders that are probably from the 50s or 60s. Just what I wanted. Thanks MIL. I hardly ever carry any type of bag but when I do I don't keep anything in it that's important. Notebooks, tissues, things like that go in the bag but my phone, money, etc are on my person. Maybe Barb does the same thing, moms have to carry all kinds of things.

I forgot that I wanted to tell you my friend and I went to Wisconsin to that school house antique shop they were having a big outside thing and because of it they wouldn't let us use the bathroom inside and I had to use a porta potty it was so disgusting and I was so aggravated. My friend actually downstairs and snuck into the bathroom downstairs LOL they said because of all the people that they couldn't handle all the toilet paper can you believe it. It was so hot that day that we didn't do the upper Floor so next time we go I want to do that. I really loved that mall they really had a lot of antiques and vintage stuff. I hate when you go to malls and they have like more boutique type of stuff. It's like you go to an antique mall and they have new stuff if I wanted that I'd go to a boutique instead.
