I love how at the end of unsettling Kirby animations like these there's always someone at the end to comfort Kirby after being thrown into an unfamiliar genre for an indefinite amount of time
Bandana waddle dee is probably the right one because in the modern games, he's the second player character.
Canon kirby is probably really skittish (relentlessly active or always nervous) because they always scared that something terrible might happen. It would also effect their sleeping patterns too. Ouch Kirby 😢😢

If anyone starts to argue about Kirby's personality in this animation, read this.
Kirby has had multiple 'canons' throughout the franchise. Especially for their personality. And the 'new' canon, which is being argued against as the real Kirby personality- isn't even supported by the original director "Masahiro Sakurai." In the Dark Matter series, which is being portrayed in this animation, Kirby's personality is actually really close to this.
Well done animator, you portrayed a Kirby accurate for their time.

Me when I gas light an entire comment section into believing something that never existed is true:
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought about this because kirby has fought and been through so much so its no surprise that it ends up with him always being scared that something bad might happen
so accurate to the mangas / books too. theres this one book(? manga thing idk exactly) of the star allies plot, and kirby panics when seeing void. they literally scream something along the lines of “THATS NOT ME! THEY LOOK LIKE ME BUT THEY ARENT ME.” they are visibly upset and shown to be bothered with all the bad stuff that goes on.
I always thought that Kirby always had a lot weighing on him, as every one ever would be dead/possessed multiple times over if not for him. I don't think Kirby let's it bother him that much, he's always smiling and laughing, but there's gotta be moments where he feels a bit heavy I feel.
We see a world with a Kirby that is without bravery in Amazing Mirror, where he has no friends and everything is gone to heck (though I don't entirely blame Shodow Kirby for this, I do believe if Kirby was there it would have been substantially better.)
Nice animation! I love the darker Kirby fan works cause I enjoy that just as much as the cutesy vibes and I feel it can go underappreciated.
