Y’all spittin’ facts here. Nintendo seems to love using Luigi as a punching bag, whether it be in Paper Mario or Smash Bros. His status as a comedic relief character actually muddles his personality quite a bit since it can change a lot from game to game. Even his relationships with others change from game to game, since sometimes Bowser knows who he is and other times he doesn’t. I think he definitely got more respect as a minion of Bleck, probably a lot due to him not having to be known as “Mario’s little brother.” He was also very important in their eyes since he was the man in green prophetized about in the Dark Prognosticus. Overall, it may not seem like it, but SPM is actually a huge compliment to Luigi since he’s so important to the plot. Also, a Mario platformer that starred Luigi instead of the title character would be awesome! Bonus points if he has to rescue Daisy because she also needs more love. 💖
Luigi is someone scared In Super Smash Bros Brawl (Where he started normally having his personalities), in Story Mode/Adventure mode, in a cutscene he was scared of enemies of the world of Kirby (don't remember their name it's why) that was just passing and they did nothing to Luigi
luigis always been represented as the weakass little brother that could never stand up to mario in any way possible... yet at the same time his character arc (or what we see of it) is so much more than that of marios, in a way he is the superior brother and that time he was hypnotized we saw that he could be much more than a worthless side character
Also you know in his games Luigi has to literally fight his worse fears over and over again just to save Mario cause Mario and the gang has been captured and yes Luigi's fear of ghost has gotten smaller (main reason I believe that is because of pulterpup the ghost dog) but he still fears king boo who by the way wants luigi dead more or less
Luigi was pretty much always destined to be the better character purely because Mario needs to be a blank slate for the player to project themselves onto. Since he isn’t a main character, he’s given the freedom to do and say whatever he wants without the player having to determine it. But even as a side character, he’s objectively one of, if not, the most important characters in SPM since the choice he makes literally determines the fate of the universe.
This is amazing! I love the way Luigi gets more and more anxious each verse before finally breaking, the lyrics with Count Bleck, his squad and Dimentio, along with the nightmare fuel that is Super Dimentio, how Mr.L is shown, and the amazing and clear artwork that goes along with it! You've really shown how Luigi mental state slowly gets worse and worse, because this game was not kind to him. Overall 10/10 animation! (Also, the colouring looks really good!)
Coloring. This is not a correction, but Americans spell color and armor without the u. So if you want to learn that little bit about the person, see whether they include the u. I dont.
