  • The key points in reducing fuel consumption are to use correct maintenance and low rolling resistance tires. Giti Tire assumes environmental responsibility in the transport world and helps reduce fleet operating costs.

    Does up-down grading rim/tire size from odd to even sizes better,or worse?

    So if go from 14's to 17's tires , doesnt affect fuel consumption as long as its low rolling resistance?

    • @kamendimitrov3884

      Low rolling resistance tires, are only good in terms that they'll get you more fuel efficient and questionable quieter to a massive crash... Emergency maneuvers in wet, cold, hot or dusty environments are not what you want to do on such a tire... This video is useless... USELESS!

      @@kamendimitrov3884 Do not get low rolling resistance tires. Those are for SEMI TRUCKS! Get regular radial tires. I like H rated tires. Most salesmen will try to sell you Z rated tires. H rated tires are much harder compound. Thats the best/least rolling resistance tire compound that I know of (H rated compound). I was getting 280miles out of a tank with my 275/40/R17 wheels and tires when they were Z rated. When I changed to H rated tires I was getting about 295miles out of a tank. Its really not much difference. The Z rated tire performed significantly better in every other metric except tire wear and price. The H rated tire had less grip and when you did a burn out, it wouldnt leave deep black marks. It would leave a burnout but it was just dust. When the wind blew or rain washed it, the marks would almost disappear (not entirely but quite a bit compared to Z rated tire compound). If you got to the end of my long ass comment, heres a burrito! 🌯

    Any one know which would be the best all season tires that are the most fuel efficient

    • @ryanmalin
      @ryanmalin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. But I do know that H rated tire compound will last you about 4 years, and you'll still have tread left. I put 40,000mi on my last set of H rated tires.

    Can you help me here please, what is more convenient for me in this case?
    Honda Fit Shuttle 2012, comes with tyres 185/60 R 15 originally.
    I swapped around with the older car I'm selling because those tyres are new, being 185/65 R14. So my question is, which of these two different tyres are going to be more efficient in fuel and power for my car?
    185/60 R 15 (Stock, original)
    185/65 R 14 (The ones from my older car, I just want these only because they are newer, but if not efficient I'd just let them go selling the older car).

      Many things come into play, tire weight, diameter, rubber compound, etc. Also you change rim size and weight. These things and reviews, at a minimum should be considered before buying!

    We could stop being so afraid and ride and build cars that are like an Ariel atom or nomad with 3seats,some storage boxes between the wheels and on the roll cage and an aerodynamic clear shell. Only 30_50hp though.Removable for summer cabrio feeling. Perhaps invent a donut airbag to make it safer.
