I mean, we went from varian, one of the most badass characters, a guy who dual wielded swords, carving up demons left and right. And we ended up with anduin, a guy who basically bubbles non-stop. Has anduin ever actually killed anyone or anything?
Which is nothing more than a strawman. Our problem isn't that he isn't that, our problem is that he is a fake, insufferable, breathy twat who can't be trusted to lead a country in a world with endemic warfare, against an enemy with the history of the Horde.

You have to go on top of some hill, to use a "sniper" aka a big ol blunderbuss, and shoot at enemies...but Anduin is there, surveying stuff...so you talk to him, he goes bla bla bla, turns his back, you punch him in the head and knock him out lol. My gf just joined wow, did some pandaria questing, and started laughing her ass off with me.
I mean there's room for characters like anduin in wow. It's just that the game glorifies and goes out of its way to prove that violence is the answer to it's problems. And blizzard trying to have anduin find fault in that is abit hypocritical. Especially since he was named after a great alliance war hero.

I had been hoping he'd be a fucking raid boss or something. That would've immediately halved the shitshow score of SL, just by letting us kill Anduin for good.
