The Druid: (A WoW Machinima by Nixxiom)

Druids in World of Warcraft are a deep and interesting class. A lot of players don't get to fully appreciate the deep lore and spirituality hidden behind the class. In fact, many players who even play druids don't really take the time to stop and think how the class is mean to be, lore wise. So here is a tale to help you get a deeper understanding on what it is like to be a duid.
In this machinima, we take a journey with a druid about a simple bear and a dog. We learn the life lesson all of Ellune's creatures can teach us, if we only just stop and listen.

Oh, I thought for sure he was going to be the bear and the moral was going to be "Don't judge a book by it's cover". Even though the bear seemed threatening, he was there to help protect the village and in turn gather berries for himself.

Well, I suppose, there are a few things to debate in this type of story.
A - The bear wasn't there to protect the village, it was there because that's where he could live. And although the hunters had a good reason to seek out the bear, since bears can hurt the village, it turns out removing the bear would actually worsen the situation. The lesson here is that manipulating/changing something you don't fully understand could have unforeseen consequences and therefore understanding nature is important (and that's exactly what a druid is doing)
The second part is that the hunters hurt the dog, yet he returns apparently out of sheer loyalty. But also you could think and say, well "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", the dog has very little choice, it cannot live outside the village and will return no matter what. IT might be a bit too much mental gymnastics, but you could say that it's about accepting one's own nature.
The wolves will hunt the sheep, the bear will be scary wether it wants to be or not, the hunters will be fearful of both and the old dog will return to it's kennel, no matter what.
