Jan telling Lionel to back the f away from overtraining and him listening is one of the best things to happen! Calling it now, he will be undefeated 2024!

@@hcuk16 Frodo went undefeated in 2019 and 2015 according to the PTO ranking/stats (can't post the link). In 2021 and 2018 he was also undefeated, but didn't race Kona.

I really needed to see this video just a few days out from my first marathon, I have been coming back from injury for the last 5 weeks of my training block and have only hit 50% of my workouts. So I really felt under prepared in terms of training load, but hearing that I did what my body was capable of and knowing now that until I complete the marathon I’ll never actually know if my body is or isn’t were it needs to be. I have a little more mental hope seeing this video that I’m were I need to be.

Love the video Lionel/Talbot. Your swim goals for the 200 FR (on the wall near your treadmill) are pretty lofty. You are going to need to split a little over a 1:01 a hundred (SCY) to achieve that time. Good luck with your training and hopefully you achieve it!

But the key think for a pro is to ignore pain or even like it - not many can push that hard and it's impoosible to "learn". Either you push that hard or you dont. Most people are in between. He is going for MAXIMUM pain otherwise he did not do it right. That is the way. The pain that dude must feel must be unberable for most. Keep it up!
