I think I’ve asked about this before but still trying to wrap my head around it. Is saving new pins something you do professionally or is that a tip for locksport? 8 1/2 cents is what I’m calculating for those pins, and it seems the off chance you lose a pin, fumble & drop/mix up, or need to dig into your pinning tray I would think would off set the benefit of having a single lock rekey set up. I haven’t tried it yet so all hypothetical just curious if it is something you used to do in the trade and it worked? Makes perfect sense for locksport though. Anyways thanks for the awesome video, still working through it might have more comments to come.
The beauty of the video camera it takes great close-ups I mean, stupendous and shooting a close-up of small bottom pins all laid out on scotch tape. It just doesn’t get any better than that. Does it? I would almost think this is a priceless shot of video. wonderment if the idea works in practice Who cares it’s the video photography that the TH-cam viewer is after these type of close-ups draw the Locksmith community in like lights to a bug I guess is it practical it’s kinda like saving rubber bands or twisties plastic bags and the like somehow it just makes me feel better to have those pins at my-beck and call ☎️ All humor aside and this is the truth. I’ve never used a single one of those keys or the pins that are taped to them, but I have them in a drawer just in case.😂❤❤❤❤❤
