- I’m so loving this new wood burning avenue I’ve found. It’s great for smalls, but also on furniture! When I get really good, I’d like to try my hand at a whole top. But that’s another day.

Whoa… night and day transformation! Love how bright and dainty it is now. The wood burning patterns look so professional. That handheld grinding monster machine looks sturdy enough to sand concrete! Need a respirator and a full on body armor suit! Yikes! TeeHee! Please let us know if you get PTSD over removing all those layers of paint! B~}
Haha! You crack me up! It was almost ptsd, but I’ve made it out the other side. It will be a while before I work on another multilayered paint piece, though 😂

I’m so glad you said about the sides of the drawers. My ocd was bothered by the old paint . I know you were worn out from taking it off but everything else was so nice. It’s like being all done up with yucky shoes or something.

Just curious …. Why you were sanding next to that beautiful glass cabinet in the background??? I would be so afraid that it would get covered in dust and debris from the piece you are working on. Your wood etching is very nice 👍🏻
I typically cover my finished pieces to protect them from other work. That cabinet hasn’t been done, it needs repair work and it actually doesn’t have any glass in it.

This probably had lead paint on it. Be careful with vintage/antique furniture.
It didn’t. I keep a test kit in my shop for these older gals.
Just an FYI, that stripper is awful!! Use a chemical stripper.
😂 I know. I literally complained in the video that I didn’t get to use my favorite stripper. And a carbide scraper didn’t do anything to that paint. It happens sometimes.
