You spoke to your interest in the RX’s next redesign. They had a minor redesign for 2020 which gave it Apple and eliminated the joy stick and basically upgraded the infotainment center. How did you like these changes or were speaking to a major overhaul with complete exterior/interior makeover? Really enjoy your reviews.
The reason for very dark colored interiors is that these vehicles haul kids, nobody with kids is ever going to buy one with those seat colors. That mouse track system is gone for 2020 and I’m surprised you’re reviewing a 2019 because the 2020 RX’s are already at dealers.
To look for cues on where the 2020 redesign might go, look no farther than the 2020 redesign of the Toyota Highlander (already released). Longer wheelbase, more 3rd row space, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and a lot more.
For your information Joe their is a 2020 RX 350 out their already. I'm gonna have " ZONK " this Lexus RX 350L. I'm just not a huge fan of Lexus SUV'S overall. Would love ❤ to see a 2019 Lexus GS F 1 day, maybe in that beautiful Yellow color ❤. Thanks Joe.
Joe great review as always...I'm sure ya know but Lexus replaced the joystick with the touchpad and added the touchscreen for the 2020s though I'm not sure if the L variant got the same refresh..
my friend used to drive a mercedez....he bought an RX350 and he is not happy....he said the inside is not as luxurious as mercedez .....and it just feel like being in a toyota

That grill is hideous! Joe, you’re being too kind.:) I rarely see people in my area driving these around. Those rims are way too small for an SUV this size...and...the nicest thing I can say about the rims is they’re not attractive. Lexus still makes the most reliable cars, though they’ve considerably lost their way regarding exterior design. Lastly, the infotainment system is not simple nor intuitive.
Steve Wise I actually like the 18 inch rims when they have the polished look on them. But I prefer the shorter wheelbase RX. I see lots of RX’s in my area, including my own😂😂
Joseph Juguilon my 2010 RX was made in Canada and there’s been no issues with it in my 9 and a half years of driving it. Fit and finish is still looking like new
Gonna have to *ZONK* this one Joe , as the 3rd row in this thing is absolutely laughable , almost as bad (if not worse) than a Dodge journey. Too many lines and curve's for a "family hauler". Notice how every other brand keeps the proportions simple but not over the top for their 3 row seaters but Lexus. SMDH
..but sales don't lie bruh, it is the truth! RX had it's best sales year ever and it is the best selling luxury SUV by a big margin. Guess ya gotta zonk their buyers??
Ken Kozawa yeah , but how much do you think the L goes towards RX sales ? Most of the rx's I see on the road are just the standard 2 row versions. I've barely seen one with an L on the back. Best selling doesn't always mean it's the best choice. Not zonking RX buyer's as the RX is a fine SUV but the L is a kinda pointless Imo.

Hi Ken! I like the subtle changes that they have now but I am excited to see a redesign!

I would be cool if you made a review on the Lexus RX 350 F Sport to show how sporty the SUV is for those that really want to be an RX owner
I would rather get a 2020 Explorer ST for that price, or wait for the new 2020 Higlander, and get the highest trim level for about 15K less.
