Maybe not a recreation but if you maybe made 4 houses, one for each element of the zodiacs so like a house for the water signs with a pool and then like eco living for air...? They could all be cousins or like enemies separated by house? I think that’d be cool because you could mirror the traits of the signs in each house!

Actually several generations living in the same house is veryyy common here in Mexico, there are almost 11 people from 3 different generations living in my childhood home at the moment 😂
I said "almost" like one of them is ripped in half or something 😭 it's me but i'm switching homes very often!! hahaha
yeah! in my country it is also very common for people from different generations to live together. since moving your elders out to a nursing home is not really a thing :> we even view it as a bad thing to do to ur elders...
@Alexis Smith it's because of filial piety. if we do not fulfill our role as a child to take care of our parents when they're old, we're durhaka!
It’s common here in the US too, at least with certain ethnic groups. My paternal grandma’s house has always had 3 generations living in it, and I grew up in my maternal grandparents’ house with my mom and brother.

Extended family homes (grandparents from both sides of the family, sometimes even uncles and aunties, and cousins) is very common in Asia. Its just how it naturally is

I love multi-generational homes! It’s fun to play that way in the sims. Overall it’s kinda rare irl in the state/country I live in, but in my particular local county it’s common for multiple generations to live together or at least on the same street and I’m honestly jealous of that lifestyle. We moved here for work, and our parents are within driving distance (long drive), and both our siblings are even further away (plane ride) but it’s not the same as walking next door.
Would you consider building a double or triple decker (basically a two or three story house with porches on the front, and each level is a unit) for multiple branches/generations of a family? Or maybe a big lot with 2 “houses” on it (I think you’ve done this before) - a small home for a couple and a larger family house? The smaller home could be for either a young couple that just got married and moved out of the family home where the parents/younger siblings still live or it could be for grandparents and the parents with their kids could live in the main family home.
This looks like something out of a fairytale! I really like the way you used the mix of wallpapers on the exterior and blended it with plants.

Yeah. It’s common in poor American families to have the grandparents in the house, even if the house is small. Most of us don’t believe in sending them to nursing homes. Especially when it was their house to begin with. But some of us also live in families with eight or more people in them

How about a generational house, BUT there is a main house for parents and kids then a small cottage/guest house for grandparents in the backyard. ( with small kitchen/kitchenette, bedroom/bath, livingroom, small dining for a more realistic vibe) exterior of houses obviously match, but the inside of the grandparents a bit more dated then the main houses decor.
omg I had that same glitch with the terrain paint. I had just fininshed a whole 64x64 farm lot and it took me ages but when I exited build mode all the terrain paint was all gone! Super annoying!
Hey Aveline, it would be cool if you did the "ranking all plants in the sims" video :D I know you love plants so I'm curious about what your opinions are.
As much as I love plants (and overuse them in The Sims), I feel like everyone and their mom has done that video and I don't think I have anything new to contribute to it 😂💕
