After sending this song to my mother and siblings, they unanimously chose to play it at the funeral, although the music style is foreign to them. Powerful music always reaches the heart. Wow my father died on the same date but in 2021 from a road accident, his favorite Nightwish music was "nemo". He was a fan of Nightwish since the beginning of the band and I grew up with his passion for metal and heavy metal and I started being a fan of Nightwish in 2013, I will never forget the memory I have with him where I was able to see Nightwish in concert for the first time in 2018! May our fathers rest in peace and may they look at us from where they are 🤍🕊️

I've only been listening to Nightwish for a few months but absolutely love Marko and in particular his voice. I really want to hear this song but I'm waiting until the 22nd Feb which will be the 15th anniversary of my Father's passing. I shall lock myself in a room with a big box of tissues and listen to the English and Finnish versions as many times as my emotions will allow me.

That would correspond best with the finnish version where he sings "pojkani" -> "my son". Plus in this version it also sounds rings out very clearly that he in fact is singing "son" and not "song". It's just a tiny typo/mistake, but with the right lyric the song ties together better. :)

I like this version more than finnish one. It is only my opinion. The lyrics reflects all my feelings about my dear father, who died 2 years ago, and this song motivates me to go further in life, reminding that my father's love within my heart and he is still watching me believing in my great future.
