It has a way of putting things into perspective, that Rocky retired at 32. These days, they don't even let you anywhere near the world title scene until you're like minimum age 36.
Bret "literally WWF champion on his last night" Hart seems an obvious miss, although any video where you're not forced to mention Montreal is a win in its own right.
I feel like Kurt Angle is a good answer for this. He was I think the highest paid star for WWE at the time in 2006. Kurt was THE reason to watch ECW or Raw or Smackdown. He was literally on every brand that year.
I was gonna say that CM Punk got fried but technically the guy walk out first, basically what WWE did was cut the contract of a guy who didn't want to be there so it technically count
The rock wasn't done in 2004 he wanted to wrestle randy savage and I get vince didn't want to bring him in but what shocks me is that Vince nixed the match between him and Rey mysterio
I love how you all take Brets word that there was supposed to be a Bret/Hogan match but everyone from Hogan to Bruce Pritchard to Vince McMahon himself says no.
Before reading his book I would have said I believe Bret. Everyone you mentioned is a scumbag. After? Eh, the guy lost a ton of points with me. Especially Prichard who really doesn’t have to be on either side.
He had not been in the big title scenefor like 18 months, and at the time you had the miz cena Hunter Orton Edge taker Hardy Batista punk All getting the title instead of him those 18 months... He had not win a singles title since 2002...
It must have grated all the boys who had to job clean for Brock hard from the moment he stepped on the main roster trying to get him over only for him to leave two years later 🤣 The reason they call it doing the favor's is because once you're over they can maybe make money off your ass by you returning it now and again for the next decade. But he just squashed everyone and bailed. The most hilarious ending to it all was he could have used all his momentum to actually make a guy on the way out but his final bout was jobbing to Goldberg who left on the same day...

I wish Jeff Hardy hadn’t left WWE in 2009 and accepted the extension on his contract. He finally reached main event status by that point.
WWE got lucky lol
Jeff reached for other stuff instead. Unfortunately he’s a child hero that turned out be a loser.
Me too😭😭
He was physically burned out by that point and had a lot of personal issues that would have been detrimental to WWE's ultra PG business model.
@@hhtptai yeah like in TNA of course
I'm honestly surprised that Kurt Angle wasn't on this list. The guy was the World Heavyweight Champ and then left a couple months later.
Bret "literally WWF champion on his last night" Hart seems an obvious miss, although any video where you're not forced to mention Montreal is a win in its own right.

I need a full version of the Cultaholic version of the Hulk Hogan theme 😂
I started drumming when he sang an alternate version of Hulk's theme.
Another 10 WWE Stars:
1)Bret Hart
2)Batista
3)Kurt Angle
4)Sasha Banks
5)The Ultimate Warrior
6)Goldberg
7)CM Punk
8)Michelle McCool
9)Edge (maybe)
10)Bobby Lashley
I was gonna say that CM Punk got fried but technically the guy walk out first, basically what WWE did was cut the contract of a guy who didn't want to be there so it technically count
Omg 😂 the revised lyrics for HH’s ring intro 🤣😂
You cannot possibly convince me that Kevin Nash left wrestling while on top.
Thank For the Top 10 Video 🙊🤯🥰😍😁💗💐🌟🥇🏆
The rock wasn't done in 2004 he wanted to wrestle randy savage and I get vince didn't want to bring him in but what shocks me is that Vince nixed the match between him and Rey mysterio
@zanethind he wanted to wrestle him at mania 22 but Vince wasn't for it
@@happyhogan40 shame though. those 2 would have had a great match i bet
That's crazy but I guess it wouldn't have made sense with Rey's story in tribute to Eddie@@happyhogan40
Nothing beats going out on top. Ill never forgive WWE for corbin retiring angle.
Blame Vince for that one. Angle wanted John Cena to be his final foe, but Vince refused since Angle was still involved with a feud with Corbin.
@@rhedosaurus2251 that feud lasted way too long Jesus
@@reimixo It was made only worse by the fact that Corbin was too green to help carry Kurt.
@@rhedosaurus2251 and at a Point was like, why are they still feuding anyway?
How did Moxley/Ambrose not make this list?
Dude was treated like a total joke for most of the time, how is that "leaving on top"?
Because he can't fucking wrestle

good video
Interesting choices.
Dat Real American parody. Works for me, brother!
Steve Austin
I love how you all take Brets word that there was supposed to be a Bret/Hogan match but everyone from Hogan to Bruce Pritchard to Vince McMahon himself says no.
So two sex pests and a yes man should be considered reliable narrators?
Before reading his book I would have said I believe Bret. Everyone you mentioned is a scumbag. After? Eh, the guy lost a ton of points with me. Especially Prichard who really doesn’t have to be on either side.
Didn't they mention the tug of war photo shoot. That's what has me...but I don't think I seen it so
@@chrishopkins5651 Bret did. I think Bruce said there was talk of doing something in the magazine like that but no match
Edge and Bret probably could have been here but it’s a worthy 10
No HBK retirement on here? He just main evented Wrestlemania.
I think since he wasn't on the Championship scene anymore is way
Why*
@@reimixohe held titles when he returned.

Kevin Nash, played “(a million backstage games)and never drew a dime”
Neither did Bret hart
@@SpaceGhost92wrong
So WCW don't exist
Best version of Hogan’s theme.
Seriously Nash was never on top 😅
The rock was 32 when he retired he should have been number one on this list

Merry Christmas eve wrestling fans 🎄👍🏿
Bret Hart and Stone Cold (although Austin left due to his neck injury, so that’s a bit different)
I'm with the narrator. If I'm on top, I got to bleed it dry... Enjoy all my time in the spotlight!
Neville left because he was jobbing to Ennis over and over, that goof couldn't wrestle if someone was controlling him in a video game.
Batista in 2010 he hardly did much outside of wrestling between then and his 2014 return.
What about Batista ?
Honestly Trish should've been on this list
AEW is booking Bryan Danielson in matches that'll leave him injured
KBT only had the belt for 4 months? Mofo no way didn't he leave because of losing to Hunter and someone he knew not getting or being kicked out too
No lie I wished booker didn’t leave in 2007
Honourable mention: Aj styles leaving tna in 2013
Top Dolla left while at the top (still stuck on the top rope)
You mean Uncle Phil?
Eh. I don't think much would've happened with Neville/PAC in WWE. He wasn't getting any higher on the card.
In what universe was Neville “on top”
I know he was mentioned in AJ’s portion, but CM Punk was definitely still a top draw when he left
How is Trish Stratus not on this list?
What about Shawn in 98?
If Brock Lesmar would have stayed and full time He would be record World champion not John Cena and Ric Flair
The best argument Bruce and Conrad had on Something to Wrestle was Bruce trying to defend Hulk Hogan winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania IX 😂
Whatever you never reply
Hogan elected to build Yoko who could have used the credibility
i love Booker but no way was he going to be winning and holding a major title for long in wwe

Kurt Angle?
Batista in 2010?
I think hulk Hogan was past it
Touch me in the morning!
AJ Lee created the women’s division. She wasn’t interested in gimmicky matches. She was wrestling and forced the women to get better and quickly.
Cm punk really should be on this list
He didnt retire while on top
He didn't leave, he was let go lol
Edge could have been in this video. He was still in the world title picture when a neck injury forced him to retire in 2011.
Nah when yall said “neval” i said this list is a joke. Bro was headlining Saturday nights😂
Neville was NEVER “on top”
SUCKA 😂
On the top* Sometimes grammar correction is important
both are equally correct
Second
Little Daniel Bryan didn't leave on top. Roman Reigns beat that little guy Daniel Bryan and made him quit on the bottom.

Another garbage list
Kurt Angle?
