Grambling sound really good I can see and hear the changes the director is doing. Jackson sound good as usual and very powerful sound. Kudo to both programs👏

Being totally objective, GSU was clearly outgunned. However, I love that Grambling clearly came to bring the fight to the DAWG. They sounded great and I thought their selection of songs was on point for a 0 quarter battle too.
But, you cannot deny that the boom simply had the sound battle hands down. Fuller, crisper and overall better executed imo. GSU could never match the sound those horns blew at them from 10:23-10:37

@@nightrider222222 well DT did have way more songs with split parts, which most of them had fanfares throughout the songs. So that made them sound weaker than normal. But yea SU stallions were woofin them hos tho but in the tuba battle, everyone know who won. #Dawgteam #theeilove #SBOTS

I marched for Grambling and have always been a Sonic Boom fan. Of course Grambling is my number one, but JSU is one of my favorites. This was a good battle. Both bands have a great deal of respect for each other.

Well 1st of all I know Gram were passing out from the heat of the sun bc it was facing them ..if it had been a 4pm game jsu the boom would be facing the heat of the sun and passing out as well ...but from what I heard with my own ears both bands were sending heat across the stadium @each other .GRAM🖤💛❤️🐅.
They was passing out cuz of the heat and Jackson Mississippi got f**ked up water and ran out of them $5 bottled waters before halftime... the game shoulda been moved to cahoma community college 🤣. It's hot in Grambling but Mississippi got that oppressive cotton field slavery heat!

JSU still had on their uniforms and was in the same heat .. it’s not our fault y’all not smart enough to NOT put on them hot all black uniforms. Should’ve had on wind breakers and a t shirt … and it would’ve been wise to tell the band members to hydrate before the game and y’all should’ve had water and Gatorade for the band during the game .. the sun was in the air my dude it wasn’t any shade for no one

Second nobody was safe from the sun or heat .. people on the home side felt the same sun the visitor side had . jsu wasn’t bad at all. I just feel that GSU sounded better. I give credit where credit is due. I think jsu has awesome drum majors and always enjoy watching them march. I just think overall GSU’s band sounds BETTER.
