Laundry sheets work. I have six cats, and I have fostered a hundred kittens over the past few years. I do my laundry and kitty laundry, and they all smell wonderful and are clean and bright. I use a brand called Earth Breeze that's delivered to my house every month. We save so much money using the sheets. When we use the cheap bottled stuff we use way too much detergent. DONT BE AFRAID TO TRY!!!
Love Earth Breeze. I use it too. My man doesn’t trust it but it gets his stuff clean too and his are very stinky sometimes!

Not sure I would trust dollar store laundry strips tho…sometimes you do get what you pay for …
I’ve used these and I’m not particularly impressed.
The sheets work. They are concentrated and better for the environment however if your washer is "low water" you have to set it full tub.

to answer the hang up on wipes: wasteful is the simple answer. I do take them for travel but otherwise I use microfiber cloth and makeup remover.
Right they go into the landfills, adding to unnecessary waste.
The laundry sheets are fantastic, its laundry detergent with the water removed.
I have been using the laundry detergent sheets for over a year. My laundry always comes out nice and clean.

I remember when glosses and lipsticks with flowers were popular in the 1960's & 1970's it goes to show how things trend back around,just like that clear lipstick that changes pink or magenta when applied,that they try to tell you is different depending on your PH,nope its the same on everyone 😂
Hi, I have used laundry sheets for years and I love them! They simply dehydrate the water out of it and what is left is only the detergent and it works like a charm. And I don't have to lug a jug of wet detergent into my house (water is heavy!) or recycle a big plastic jug when it's empty. I put a sample pack of 10 sheets into everyone's stocking a couple of years ago at Christmas and my adult children all use laundry sheets and so does my sister who was very skeptical at first but loves them now. Give 'em a try - you may like them, too!!

And those nasty detergent jugs are not recyclable without a LOT of rinsing if at all. Laundry sheets all the way.
I use the dollar tree laundry sheets and they work just as well as name brands of the sheets and liquid detergent. When you buy the liquid, you're paying for mostly water. Most people overuse detergent causing build-up on their clothes. It makes the clothes dingy and the leftover soap makes dirt clinge to it.

Prang is actually a brand name for art products. I used to get them at craft stores like Hobby Lobby all the time.
The Windex pouches dissolve much much faster in warm/hot water. I used pouches as a commercial cleaner for cleaning a church.
I exclusively use the washing sheets and have been for quite a while now. My clothes always feel and smell absolutely fine. I’m completely confident that they’re getting my clothes perfectly clean - and yes, that definitely includes my underwear!
They say you aren't even supposed to use a cup of detergent when you wash. Maybe half. Or even less😮
The laundry sheets are incredible. I didn't notice any difference between my normal detergent. My clothes smell great and I don't need to throw away so much plastic. Earth Breeze is my fav!
Viv you’re sadly wrong on the laundry soap. They work! Think of them like dehydrated laundry soap. The key is to tear into pieces and let it dissolve in the washer with a little water before adding dirty laundry.
What about front loaders?
Laundry sheets help plastic waste. It also saves space in the laundry area.
Baby wipes are excellent make up removers.
I love the Arm and Hammer detergent sheets. They get all of my clothes clean

You could have washed the dirty wipes in the bowl of detergent from previous segment to see if you got them clean

They work. Mine get very clean and I’m always in the garden getting very dirty. They don’t suds up much because they are safer to use. You don’t need suds to get clean. I get my scent from my softener. You are missing out.
Softener isn't even good to use look up the reasons why it's not good because I am not even getting into it here

I’ve used the laundry sheets from Clean People for about four year and love them. So easy to use and no heavy plastic bottles.
I use powdered detergent that comes in a cardboard box to save on plastic waste.
We used Earth Breeze when my dad was alive. It helped out a lot for his soiled bedding we would wash 3-6 times a day.
In the early 80s, there was a all in one laundry pack that looked like a soap powder tea bag. You put it in the wash, the soap dissolved to wash the clothes, then you put the empty pack in the dryer with the clothes as the softener sheet. It was a bigger disaster than those soap sheets - it often didn't fully dissolve, so it was just nasty.
Searched for the clean beauty lip stick and the Hemp seed lotion and I LOVE them both. Thank you Vivian 😊
The laundry sheets do work for small loads and convenience of not lugging jugs around. I personally would only use the name brands. I go to the beach a bunch and take the sheets for small loads while I am there.

I use the Dollar Tree laundry sheets. I use 2 when needed. I believe my clothes are ckean because stains and places dissappear

I have 8 children (adopted) home with my husband and I and we use the Earth Breeze for years. Works great no complaints
Why do you specify that your children were adopted? Your children are your children regardless of how they joined the family
The detergent sheets are the bomb! I don’t know about arm & hammer or dollar tree, but I use all natural sheets and have been for over a year with no complaints. You have to remember that there is a large percentage of water in the liquid detergent so small percentage of actual detergent.

The detergent sheets contain PVA plastic and they dissolve into the water systems,releasing plastics into the water 💔

Most people use WAY too much laundry detergent. Bottled is mostly water. Unless clothes are really dirty you don't need much. And I want to make sure it is rinsed out.

I have used & love them. I used Earth Breeze brand. Yes I would sometimes put 2 sheets in for a larger load. Walmart is carrying the brand I was using. I love them. 😊❤ Really they do work & you can smell the scent in your clothes. ❤

The Arm and Hammer sheets are great. Put them at the bottom of your machine and then load your laundry on top of it. They are great! The laundry smells great and it’s very clean.🎉🎉❤
I don't use wipes, i use the reusable only water needed velour remover cloths (any brand I have tried works equally well), then cleanse as usual with my face wash. Works great!

Re: fabric markers. I’ve used them to color in lighter stains from a lemon juice or bleach boo-boo on clothes. Mostly on black and dark navy. I loaned mine to a friend so don’t recall the name but it was a big art brand. Check for colorfastness. Sharpee industrial may work, and I know the Sharpee marker for washable clothes labeling works. It has some cutesy name I can’t remember.
You can’t see your top or pants were ever damaged if you carefully color-match. I buy individually and it’s more expensive, but worth it if you take the garment to the store with you. Some workers will even assist you.

Regarding those fabric markers, Prang is actually a brand name. They make student grade art and crafting supplies, but they're not half bad, at least for things like watercolors. Another note: Check the instructions. With some fabric pens and paints, you need to heat set them with an iron or by tossing the item in the dryer.
You could stack the bubble candles from Dollar Tree and light the top one and then when it burns down swap them and burn the second candle.
Hold up. Laundry sheets are great. I’ve been using them for several years. So much easier to store and use. No more bulky, wasteful plastic jugs or big powder boxes to lug in from the car. Yes, our clothes are clean!
I don’t think people dislike using wipes, but find that they are wasteful and contribute towards landfills when you can use other reusable options.

Hard or soft water will make a big difference as to how much laundry soap you need. Have tried laundry sheets but I still prefer pods.

The problem with the lotion shaving cream is that you can’t rinse it out of your razor! It clings to the blades and need a toothbrush to clean it out every stroke.
The ‘vegan’ and ‘glutton free’ in non-food items are just catchphrases..like ‘organic’..unless you’ve saw it grow, you don’t know if it’s really organic
There are so many reasons to switch to detergent sheets. Cost, of course. When you buy liquid detergent, even the most concentrated, you're paying for water. 80% of liquid detergent is just water. Only 20% is active cleaning ingredient. And those giant plastic bottles aren't recyclable. So, do you like the pods? The right amount of detergent, but they fill our water (rivers, lakes, oceans, wells) with microplastics. You wanna drink plastic? The sheets are better for the environment.

I bought the Dollar Tree Hemp Seed Oil in coconut loved it I went back to buy a second one Great smelling and I have very dry skin it really helped my dry skin!

You could actually keep the plastic door from other packages and hot glue it to the dollar tree packaging to recycle the packaging 😉

Love your podcast! One point to make about the fabric markers - the ones from Dollar Tree are Prang, which is a long established art brand! So no wonder the colors are better! The company must have tried fabric markers commercially and stepped back, unloading inventory. Making this a really great buy!
I bought a wipe holder that has a little thing. I fill it with my wipes. It works great and keeps the wipes nice and moist. Got mine from Temu

I was really really hoping that the laundry sheets would work for me. Unfortunately after the load was done the majority of the laundry sheet was not dissolved it was stuck to the inside of my washer.😢

The arm and hammer sheets work amazingly. I love everything about them. Hubby gets dirty at work and it cleans very well.
The name "Prang" on material markers are a name brand. They are cheaper but it's not a DT marker. Prang makes crayons, markers and clay.

I use laundry sheets for the same reason I don't use wipes: to minimize waste. The laundry sheets do an excellent job of cleaning my clothes, even after I play in the mud during planting season. I wash my face with Noxema and a wash cloth.

Vivian, Prang IS a brand name. Just thought you would want to know. They sell them in other places then DT and thry have been around for YEARS. Also, you need to pop the fabric in a dryer to heat set it after using them. 😊

I’ve been using the Clean laundry sheets brand for over a year now and I love them. They clean my clothes just as good with no harsh chemicals or dyes and I don’t have big ugly bottles anymore. Give it a try, I’ll never go back to liquid!
