    I have a good idea! Since the cloth on the end lets through air that can push away material when you are vacuuming, you could add a plastic deflector.

    I just ordered an air compressor and noticed strange accessories available as air tools. So this is one of those applications. Interesting. I see an advantage here over using a regular vacuum cleaner in that it is good for vacuuming up workshop grime such as metal shavings that may ruin your domestic vac.

      🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
      🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
      🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
      🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
      🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
      🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
      🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
      📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
      🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
      🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

    Noice! A little over the top fabbing the parts yourself but if it's worth doing it's worth doing right! For lazy people such as myself any store-bought matching T pipe, connectors, and hose could do the job. The tricky part is fitting something to the end of the air tool. Personally I would just recycle some garden hose and fittings. Or use my vacuum :P

     No need for a lathe:
    Hammer a wood dowel thru the fitting, chuck it and spin it in your cordless drill with one hand,and grind/turn it down with your grinder on the other hand;
    Been doing amazing *PRECISION* "turnings" with this method; i use a nice flat file towards the end when the thing needs to be wave free/"flat",or micrometer measured; fine sandpaper ,by hand, (1000 or better grade)gives a smooth finish.

  • @AndyNicholson
    @AndyNicholson 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    +johnnyq90 I know that the pressure must escape somewhere in order for a vacuum to be created, but there must be a way of recycling the air that's expelled out through the cloth to either divert dirt towards the nozzle, or add extra pressure in the nozzle itself - it seems a waste of potential energy and looks like it's pushing some of the dirt away

    The compressor BLOW an air. But, how can it turn to Suck Air?

    • @devjk1
      @devjk1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may have done some research by now, but in case you haven't the Venturi effect happens when airflow passes over something else, like a tube in this case. The air above the tube will have friction with the air in the tube, pulling it up with the airflow. That's in layman's terms, but thats the basic concept. I use the same effect to pull paint/dye into an airbrush and to suck up industrial cutting oil at work.

    • @SomewhatStaid
      @SomewhatStaid 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The video is more a demonstration of how the principles of a Venturi work than it is instructions for how to build a thing. He just shows the build process to show you exactly how simple the concept is.
      The "gun" is just a nozzle hooked up to an air compressor, all he's doing is spraying compressed air through it.
      The "yellow stuff" is flux, when you solder over top of it, it evaporates out, and the solder gets sucked into the void it left. Makes for much better joints.
