    Ok, absolutely loved the Germanglish, but the historian in me laughed out loud during the parachute exchange ."I have no idea what happened but I am CERTAIN it was the SCARIEST and MOST WELL KNOWN enemy weapon...and a DOZEN OF THEM all at once!"
    Just like every enemy piece of armor was a Tiger and ya blew up 10 of them in an evening. :D

      For the USA distribution of Dambusters the dog's name was also changed. Don't though remember what name was dubbed in.

    The production quality is top tier and ultimate budget at the same time. The use of Battle of Britain sound effects was spot on as well. That movie made me fall in love with the Hurricane, 109, and 111. Brilliant!

    Not to make this all boringly serious, but apparently BF-109s were for all intents and purposes identical in performance to Spitfires (German pilots who had the opportunity to fly Spitfires thought the BF-109 was a bit better, but then I suppose they would). At the end of the day, it really came down to how good the pilot was flying the aircraft, regardless of whether it was a 109 or a Spitfire.

    I've been wondering about all your uniforms and props for a while, thinking that you must have spent an absolute fortune on buying all the stuff! Really useful that you are able to rent it! Those old wooden buildings bring back some memories, used to have one of those as one of the 3buildings that we used to use in the Air Cadets. 1930s vintage, sadly missing the old cast iron stove, but fairly original apart from that, and held together with woodchip wallpaper and wall paper paste.
