the channel that is PFL-ed is the one you hear in your headphones. it stands for "pre-fade-listen" so it means even if you have the volumefader on channel 1 all the way down, you can still hear the track in your headphone. Because it sends the audio to you, "pre-fade" = before any effects or faders take effect of it. you have to use the headphone volume knob to control the loudness then.
Ecler is all about quality. Its an investment but it's worth it (got 1 myself and i'm luving it). Nice extensive review johnathan, keep the good stuff comming!
hi, 4 most people using TC, they like the feel and old school style of vinyl, and with a lap top you have your intire collection with u , but the same can be said 4 the 800's as you can still use with TC, cd's. j
No man, the eq settings of each channel remain the same.. but in reverse mode having your crossfader to the left you listen only the right channel instead of the left one.. it is used for scratching only.. i don't think there is another use of reversing the crossfader...
Can you explain the PFL feature please? i think it is just what ive been looking for on my cheap behringer, but i did not fully understand what it does. it is for leveling tunes to the exact same volume, so you can mix smoother, right?
Ecler is quality gear. The guy who was talking about scratching, this mixer is not meant for scratching...Ecler has another mixer that is designed specifically for scratching. And to the guy who said its ugly...you have no clue or taste. All of Ecler's gear is well designed and looks awesome and will last you a very long time.
is the fader any better? i had one, and hated it. the cut off on the fader was way to shallow for scratching and the fader was quite stiff after 3 or 4 months!
seen this already? the booth output on a mixer is also handy to run a sub off it so that you can adjust the punch!
I love this! They really managed to stuff loads of inputs & outputs in a very limited space!

Is this remote better in vinyl sound quality than the pioneer djm 800 or 400 remote ?

@oimeloimel it's like a "cue" button on, for example, Pioneer.

Looks are subjective. Some people might like the look of the mixer, others may not. so there you have it.
The mixer is absolutely meant for scratching. That's why it accepts an Eternal Fader.

You needed to put an Eternal Fader in it, which is says on the front bottom it's "suitable" for. That or an Innofader would be fine.
Excellent review....thanks a bunch!
yeh there is, theres a big ground screw on ch 3 @ 5:53
Love your vids ellaskins. Thanks
min was the early modell, and the shop said you cant replace the fader?
I would get so screwed up reversing the up-faders. I can't imagine anybody wanting that feature. Still I very high quality mixer.
There is no ground on the back? Interesting.
There is. I saw a product photo of the back
cool product
nice good job mate
is that a tat on his left hand?
Ecler's build quality is a lot better than Behringer, that's why it's more expensive.
