Hanging Wall Cabinets in a Laundry Room

I appreciate your video, but I’m concerned about something I’ve read in multiple places. It says when hanging cabinets like yours that are large and could contain lots of things if you don’t hit at least three studs per cabinet then you’re supposed to put three-quarter inch plywood behind both cabinets to afix to. It’s obviously more work but the people who someday may buy your home and put more things in it, might expect that it was done correctly.

So, on the back of these cabinets, there are boards that reinforce them long the top and bottom.
I know what type of cabinets you’re thinking of. I used them in my garage. They have a really thin back plate, with no reinforcement. I had to do exactly what you’re talking about. I had to glue on reinforcement.
So it depends on what the back of the cabinet looks like.
