If you have a tight budget, you DON’T have a front loading washer and your appliances don’t stack. We have heavy duty appliances because we have 6 children. We live in Houston, where we cannot build basements (the water table is too high). So the laundry room is in the garage. In the summer it can be 120 degrees in there. I have a tiny space between the water heater and west wall, with MAYBE enough room for an open cabinet for our laundry basket. Your shelving ideas however are excellent.

Renovating main bathroom - toilet and laundry which is taking longer then expected ( darn all these public holidays) As such, there have been some great ideas I will incorporate into my new laundry design. Loving the long benches with the laundry baskets underneath. Finally all that unwanted clutter gone. Thanks Karen
I'm about to design my laundry room & it had tons of great ideas. I especially liked the pull out under the washing machine as I suffer from mobility issues & I'd never seen that before. It will change my life when doing laundry, I had my oven at eye level but hadn't ever thought I could have my washer there because of all the bending to get stuff out of the basket so thank you sooooo very much.
How come there isn't a reference for unfinished basement where it is dark, moisture issues. All these look like model homes or staged. Great ideas though.

there is some?
1,2,14,15, 18, 24 feature top loaders. Front loaders offer much more versatility unless of course you have a larger laundry room.
