The most underrated putter of 2020 that you can get for around £50 is the Wilson staff infinite Windy City putter. The best deal I found on a new one was $70 (or £56) on eBay. If you buy directly from Wilson, a brand new one costs $100 (£80). It has a double milled face, a grip that looks similar to a super stroke, counter balanced moving the balance point closer to your hands, and a nice padded leather head cover. Nice used ones run about £32. Honestly Wilson staff is way underrated in the golfing community in general.
I have a Cleveland Huntington Beach putter I've used for the past 3-4 years. Paid $35, on clearance from a equipment discounter. Excellent feel, rolls the ball, still looks new. Owned Ping Anser when they were THE putter. Hardest putter I've ever used. Never felt like I was able to get the ball on top of the grass. Difficult to line up, didn't fit my eye. Put a Zing 2 in the bag for 10 years. Own a Bullseye and found it hot & cold. When I was on, it was great. Easy on the eye, small contact area helped with focus. Great on fast greens. Tried Odyssey 2 ball when they were introduced. It felt like cheating. Like using Ping ISI irons or Callaway's first irons. You had a shovel in your hands that struck the ball pure and straight. Ended up being two busy to look at. Own a couple of Rossie models, I've retired. Never owned TaylorMade putters. Played with guys who had the Ghost and they looked like hell after a couple rounds. TP never tried nor played with anyone who did. My secret desire is for an Edel Brick. Taken them to the putting green & made everything. UNBELIEVABLE feel and contact. Priced $125-$150 and they are not selling. Not the sexy name in expensive putters. Good recommendations 👍👌🏻
I'm a massive fan of the bullseye putters. I game the Nike Method Mod90 (the best looking putter ever made.....I'm not biased at all!). Despite it being a modern take on the classic bullseye I had read how unforgiving they were and that it didn't suit my stroke but after a year of having it in the bag my putting has become the best part of my game and that feeling when you strike the sweet spot is just sublime! The rarity factor of the Method Mod 90 just adds to the appeal.
Yep Wedges please & if poss include something 'game improvement' I know CBX2 wont be under £50 but surely there's something other than 'Blade' wedges for higher handicappers?
Started playing 18 months ago - all clubs are second hand apart from Huntington Beach #3, which I bought new for £65. Feels great to me (but what do I know?!) and I think it looks great.
Yes C Groove Putter - I tried one at an American Golf shop and holed nearly every single putt with it - but it was priced at £115! Roll on a year later, and I was playing golf just after Christmas and walked into the club shop to find a sale........the very same C Groove for £50 in pristine condition. We won our matchplay game on the last hole by me sinking a 25 footer. The best putter I've ever had.
Got a Cleveland Huntingdon Beach no6 and love the look of it. Picked one up new for £69.99 I think. Had it for about a year and a half and it still looks brand new and the head over seems to have stood up well (I play in all weathers, but do try to look after my clubs). Great series again mate, keep it up!
I have a Huntington Beach center shaft and superb feeling off face. Center shaft didn't seem to fit me great but highly recommend those putters if they match a style you want.
I got the Taylormade Rozza Monza Redline. It's face balanced and has a nice brassy finish and a Redline to line the ball up. Saw it in decathlon and managed to bargain them down to £50 because it was the last one in the shop. Putter was brand new still in the wrapping.
I have been refinishing the bullseye acushnet putters for about a year. I find them in thrift stores for about 5$ American. I have a couple of them done now. I finish them and give them to friends and family. I gamed one for a few rounds and it did get a lot of attention. They are beautiful putters and if you want to spend the time you can make them like bars of gold on a shaft
Again, you have hit the mark Simon. I recently had the HB 6c Cleveland putter, got it for £50 at local golf club. Seriously nice club, only changed as I found a deal on the Cleveland TFI 2135 Counter balanced 8 copper putter which I had also used. This was the best putter I have ever owned and I made a real mistake selling a while back. Saying that, the Huntington Beach 6 was top quality, the feel was amazing. Only reason they didn't sell was the brand. Wedges, yes, putters no, and I dont know why, they are amazing quality
I bought a Cleveland Huntington Beach 1 from eBay brand new 2 yrs ago for £45 and absolutely love it! Favourite club in the bag and would be hard pushed to find anything nicer at any price!
I have a Cleveland Huntingdon Beach and a Taylor Made Daytona Putters, They are both great and i completely agree with your comments. Continue your good work and video
Love it!!!! Choice between TM and Scotty Cameron is a Bettinardi!!! I have 4 or 5 Bettinardis and absolutely love them. I like the Scotty's as well and have a few, but for anyone who has never tried a Bettinardi, they'll just never understand. At the moment I have a Piretti in the bag which is close to the Bettinardi.
First time listening to him. Love his description of the Taylormade putter: looses paint just looking at; and, you lose the cover before you leave the store. My experience exactly. And, I did like the putter. Will definitely be returning.
Hi Simon I learnt with a bullseye had it in the bag for about 5 years I now consider myself to be an excellent putter and I am sure starting with that putter helped. I now have a Ping Sigma 2 Valor which I was fitted for.
I have a Gary Player bullseye putter that I just cleaned up and are going to play with it on Saturday I started playing many moons ago with a Jack Nicklaus Bullseye, enjoyed the vid
Couldn’t get a win on a 2-ball for love nor money. Too many people taking your advice o think so I just opted for a Huntington Beach about an hour ago. Feeling much better about it now I’ve watched this!
I have a Northwestern Tom Weiskopf Bullseye putter and I love putting with it. With those putters you have to hit the sweet spot or the ball goes nowhere!
Only lately subscribed to your channel and loving your advice. Agree with the Yes Tracy putter, had mine for about 13 years and wouldnt change it .Also playing with Yonex XP irons which I think you have also recommended (5-pw) although I still use my Ping Eye 2 Blue dot 9 iron, PW and Sand Iron.As you may have guessed I am a senior golfer and would love to see you make a video with advice on buying for my age group.Keep making brilliant informative videos.
I've had a Ping Redwood Anser and currently have the Cleveland Huntington #1, as I wanted a brand new blade with nice headcover. Both are great with a soft feel and sleek looks. Had a 33" Ping and it was too short for me however, 34" with the Cleveland today. I'm 5,8 so was surprised I had to stoop so much with the 33" Ping Anser.
Bought a used Cleveland Huntington Beach 8 putter for training at home during the lockdown for around € 60. Great putter, I'm even thinking of replacing my TM Spider Tour with it going forward (golf courses open up again on May 1 around here, yay).
I have the cleveland Huntington beach and I only paid 47 pound for it carnt recomend it more love it looks and feels brilliant. Love these videos Simon
Love the series. I was having some putting issues due to not practicing enough with my Newport 2. Purchesed a odessey white hot 2 ball for 60$ in mint condition and it helped my games a ton! So forgiving.
Simon, Overthinking this a little but in terms of putters with inserts, the feel of Taylormade pure roll is very smooth, followed by o-works, maybe to ping sigma. Would you recommend a milled face as much as those with inserts like the Cleveland you suggest?
Great series Simon, i purchased a Cleveland huntington no6 last year and after having loads of different makes and models this thing is amazing i love it 👍
Excellent video again pal!! I've just bought the Radius tour concept changeable putter for 49.99 brand new on ebay. They used to sell for about 300 new at the time. Can't wait to get it and start using it
I use a Rife Deep Blue mallet putter with a Super Stroke grip and head cover bought off Ebay for £40. For my game it is much more consistent than my Odessey. Also I just took a punt on a new set of 3 Lynx Powertune Hybrids from Golf Clubs 4 Cash for £24 delivered. Lynx used to be great clubs so happy to take the risk. What do you think?
Loving this. Chuffed with my ping putter for 23 quid. Hate to be that guy, but please please please can you do 3 woods next. Its my birthday on the 13th of May and I want to order myself a 3 wood. Been looking at titleist 913s and TM V-steel, would love to hear what your top 5 choices are.
Great stuff again Simon, I got a Cleveland Huntington Beach No.1 just before xmas £49.99 brand new, and its probably the only putter I've got on with, and putting isn't my forte. Love your advice.
I have bullseye putter ( bronze type color). I’ll have to dig it out of the attic. Also, a similar type putter “Accuform” nice balance-but needs a grip. Accuform in no longer in business but what I have read the company was a Canadian business and made clubs but they were fitted and ordered golf clubs. The Accuform putter has the name of the original owner stamped into the bottom of the club. additionally, I own a Odyssey twoball, taylormade redhot, Zaap putter, ping putter and I believe I still have a heelshafted putter. Kinda similar to the putter type Phil Mickelson used. As you probably quest I’m a horrible putter. On in two, off in three. I couldn’t even get angry when my golf buddies yelled it out.
I was trying to get ideas for which putter to buy/try, but I have my grandma's old Acushnet Bullseye (she used in the 90s when she was still playing) in the basement already, so maybe I'll just regrip it!
What a brilliant video. I've just picked up 2 deals. An Odyssey 2 ball for £50. Ping Anser Karsten for £42 😁 Going to compare blade vs mallet. Both mint condition and in my length and LH! Ebay and Facebook Marketplace are the way to go 👌
Some of these Bullseyes look more like Wilson 8802 style putters. For a real Bullseye style look up John Letters Golden Goose. Also the Cleveland Huntington Beach milled putters have been recommended for putter of the year.
Odyssey White Hot Blade, two PING Anser, one PAL 4, 2-LaFemme Bulls Eye: 1 w/flange, 1 without, South Bay, Plop...😂😂 Bar Keepers Friend works great at removing tarnish build up, takes just a few minutes.
I have over a hundred putters . use a tailormade rossa but I love all the old ones . some are beautiful . but awful to use . some I have so wanted to be good but they are not easy to use . and all £1 at the tip as always! I do like the hickory shafted or steel shafted with the woodgrain effect . really old , really lovely but really difficult
Loving all the second hand content, giving me a lot of confidence in the decisions I have made. I bought a ping karsten pal 2i from Facebook for £20, needed a better putter
Just borrowed my sons 2 ball putter , going to stick with it to see how we roll with it , Hybrid is next on my shopping list so any tips would be great , thanks , andy
Cool review, it’s like watching myself on eBay. I don’t intentionally by to flip but end doing it, I buy because I like playing around with ‘stuff’ 👍 especially Premium shafts - whoops now you know! But, you have to be prepared to pull, re-grip and test and of course know your specs etc. This will cost you money but great fun. So, an example a PX Handcrafted 6 yellow Hybrid shaft in to a Ping G30 7 wood head - result - 210 ish mid flight allowing me to hit and stop on to some tough Par 3s. Also nobody else likely to have one - do one on quality shafts 👍
I got a Cleveland Huntington Beach #1 with a Super stroke grip on it as a throw in with an M4 3 Hybrid. Total price $40. They do feel nice for a cheaper putter.
I see you have already sold 10 of your Vega's nice work! I'm sure people from here would pay decent cash for a build club. By the way you have put the 01 description on the 02's
How much do you rate scotty cameron putters? Would be interesting to see you test something high end so CT vs a cheap putter like the ones mentioned and do a full comparison
What’s up mate loving the series been only new to watching and can’t get enough great content!! Quick one for you my clubs, bag and everything that goes along with it was stolen from my car so I’m rebuilding again. Managed to get some irons and I reordered the F9 driver as it’s price has dropped so much, I’m looking for a cheap cart bag but finding it impossible to get something cheap and cheerful to get me by. Any recommendations??
I got the Huntingdon Beach #1 for around £45. I'd give my thoughts on it, but the thing turned up pretty much the day lockdown started so I haven't been able to try it yet....indoor putting doesn't count:)
I used to pick them up at the thrift store for a dollar. One day I found an old titleist L putter, between the two old titleist models the 8802 clearly is more applicable.
I’ve had the Cleveland classic number 3 with a WIN faT grip, basically the same putter. Just upgraded to scotty Cameron 5cb. Anyone wants the Cleveland £20 plus postage
I have a Cleveland Huntington 3 and have played it for 2 years now by far very good feel and quality. Not sure why no one wants them but there are so many options its just what you think works for you. Im not spending $300 on a gamer that i will still putt shitty with!! lol
Love the content, been thinking about snatching a ghost putter for a bit recently myself. I’ve also been trying to look for a good cheap set of irons to replace my box set. I see Adams irons for very cheap used like the a12s and I’m wondering if I should spring for that or wait for a good deal on something like Wilson d100s or d200s. If not those are there any other irons I should look for instead around that similar price range?
Simon this video has made me laugh so much. My best friend and I just started getting into golf and I own a Cleveland Huntington Beach putter and my friend has a bullseye putter. I also own a taylormade ghost putter. This video made me chuckle because I was thinking why is he naming all of my putters!?
Keep up the good content 🤙🏼 I been thinking of buying “new” set for awhile but undecided what to get. I want a set of used titleist ap2’s with a 917 d2 driver. But I can also get a full callaway hot x2 hot 10 pc set for about the same price plus it’d be brand new and not used

Over the years I've spent a small fortune on putters. Settled on a Cleveland and it's great. Well, till the next time.
Playing the Cleveland Huntington Beach #1. It’s an absolute beauty, pure roll and soft feel. Paid $100 and got a free round of golf with it
Same. Love my Huntington #1..
Have a number 6 and it’s great , just the operator at time .😂
I'm a massive fan of the bullseye putters. I game the Nike Method Mod90 (the best looking putter ever made.....I'm not biased at all!). The Cleveland putters are amazing value. I've got the huntington #6. Looks really nice, feels great, great price
Loving the series. Wedges next please, may be a challenge!
Waiting for this!!

Yes! Huntington number 6, bought and sold quite a few different putters but nothing has pushed it out, especially in terms of value

Brilliant content. I remember our local park pitch and put back in the 70’s , you would get a 7 iron and a bullseye putter.
Simon if you want one of those bullseye putters just pop to your local crazy golf
I have a Cleveland Huntingdon Beach and a Taylor Made Daytona Putters, They are both great and i completely agree with your comments. Continue your good work and video

I’ve recently just found a Wilson staff 8862 blade putter in mint condition and I love it! Straight in the bag
First time listening to him. Love his description of the Taylormade putter: looses paint just looking at; and, you lose the cover before you leave the store. My experience exactly. And, I did like the putter. Will definitely be returning.
Killer video. I picked up a taylormade TP when I started playing last year, $45. Works great for me.
Got a Cleveland huntington beach #4 before coronavirus restrictions. Picked it up brand new for $95 aud (50gbp) awesome looking and feeling putter
I love my Huntington Beach #11 soft. Underrated putter for sure. Looks great and rolls perfect for me.
I’m using a yes c groove Olivia putter atm with a super stroke grip, bought it for £30 off eBay and loving it
Hi Simon I learnt with a bullseye had it in the bag for about 5 years I now consider myself to be an excellent putter and I am sure starting with that putter helped. I now have a Ping Sigma 2 Valor which I was fitted for.
Got a Cleveland putter. No. 7. Love it. Looks & feels great
Wilson 8802 milled. I got it and it's the best feeling putter for me. You can get it at good price.
Also got an anser 5 at the same time, they rotate in the bag now, love them both
I have a Gary Player bullseye putter that I just cleaned up and are going to play with it on Saturday I started playing many moons ago with a Jack Nicklaus Bullseye, enjoyed the vid
Same. I have one also and I find it very forgiving since the shaft is almost centered. The bullseye design is by far the best design ever made.
Great call on the Cleveland putter
I've had a Ping Redwood Anser and currently have the Cleveland Huntington #1, as I wanted a brand new blade with nice headcover. Both are great with a soft feel and sleek looks. Had a 33" Ping and it was too short for me however, 34" with the Cleveland today. I'm 5,8 so was surprised I had to stoop so much with the 33" Ping Anser.
Simon what do you think of Yes putters? I picked up a Carolynne (centre shafted blade) stupidly cheap recently just for practicing purposes.
Bought a used Cleveland Huntington Beach 8 putter for training at home during the lockdown for around € 60. Great putter, I'm even thinking of replacing my TM Spider Tour with it going forward (golf courses open up again on May 1 around here, yay).
you should look into the spalding/tp mills putters too if you like the bullseye!
I have the cleveland Huntington beach and I only paid 47 pound for it carnt recomend it more love it looks and feels brilliant. Love these videos Simon
I’ve had my for 35 years and I will keep it till the end 👍
Love the series. I was having some putting issues due to not practicing enough with my Newport 2. Purchesed a odessey white hot 2 ball for 60$ in mint condition and it helped my games a ton! So forgiving.
Simon,
Overthinking this a little but in terms of putters with inserts, the feel of Taylormade pure roll is very smooth, followed by o-works, maybe to ping sigma.
Purchased a Cleveland putter, love the feel.
Can you do a video like this on 3 woods? Last part of my bag I’m building out.
Cleveland & Yes putters are the way to go for quality blade putters at a good value
Been using a lynx 007 for a while now and I love it!!!
Love my Cleveland Huntington 11! It is a great putter!
Huntington beach 11.. Great feeling putter
I was trying to get ideas for which putter to buy/try, but I have my grandma's old Acushnet Bullseye (she used in the 90s when she was still playing) in the basement already, so maybe I'll just regrip it!
Wilson Infinite. Counter balance. So solid, great feel. Trust me.
Did you ever try out the Fisher CTS putter line Simon? Nice heavy feel, quality build, soft insert, very cheap on ebay
loving the vids simon
Odyssey White Hot Blade, two PING Anser, one PAL 4, 2-LaFemme Bulls Eye: 1 w/flange, 1 without, South Bay, Plop...😂😂
Bar Keepers Friend works great at removing tarnish build up, takes just a few minutes.
I have over a hundred putters . use a tailormade rossa but I love all the old ones . some are beautiful . but awful to use . some I have so wanted to be good but they are not easy to use . and all £1 at the tip as always! I have the cleavland classic blade got it for £45 in perfect ondition with a counter balance super stroke
Cool review, it’s like watching myself on eBay. I don’t intentionally by to flip but end doing it, I buy because I like playing around with ‘stuff’ 👍 especially Premium shafts - whoops now you know! Great recommendation with the Clevelands
Hey Simon, I've got an old Acushnet/Titleist Bullseye putter in my bag. I'd love to send it to you for a video of you sprucing it all up!
Been using the Huntington Beach blade for a year now. Paid £50 brand new. Absolute bargain IMO! Feels great for the price your paying
HI SIMON i play with a Seemore putter good roll.
I see you have already sold 10 of your Vega's nice work! I'm sure people from here would pay decent cash for a build club. By the way you have put the 01 description on the 02's
Wow, I'm two for two...Taylormade R9 driver, Ping Karsten TR Anser 2 putter. Now, if only I could get out and play with them.
How much do you rate scotty cameron putters? Would be interesting to see you test something high end so CT vs a cheap putter like the ones mentioned and do a full comparison
When Redwood Anser putters were first introduced, they cost $250.00. I know because I bought my son one. If you can buy one for $50...DO IT!!!
Great vid pal 👍🏻
What’s up mate loving the series been only new to watching and can’t get enough great content!!
Quick one for you my clubs, bag and everything that goes along with it was stolen from my car so I’m rebuilding again. l have bought 3 cleveland putters of ebay, one recently for 20.00, l like them because they are very underrated and high quality.
Cleveland TFI 2135 Elevado Golf Putter is a really good putter
Have a look for golden goose putters very similar to the bullseye one's
I got the Huntingdon Beach #1 for around £45. I'd give my thoughts on it, but the thing turned up pretty much the day lockdown started so I haven't been able to try it yet....indoor putting doesn't count:)
Cheers Simon I'm the high bidder on a Huntington beach and you have probably just screwed me over! Keep up the good content I have just subbed.
Just watched this video. I bought three used putters today before watching this video, I will send you a pic tomorrow. I think you will approve lol
Everybody should have a bullseye they are mint and relative easy to restore.
I used to pick them up at the thrift store for a dollar. One day I found an old titleist L putter, between the two old titleist models the 8802 clearly is more applicable.
I your going to go for a taylormade ghost putter, get a tour black one. The finish holds up miles better than the white.
Morton Golf Sales in the US has Nearly New Huntington Beach putters for $49.99 USD. I purchased a #1 and #6 and they look like they've never been hit.
I’ve had the Cleveland classic number 3 with a WIN faT grip, basically the same putter. Just upgraded to scotty Cameron 5cb. Anyone wants the Cleveland £20 plus postage
Love to see you review the old Macgregor clubs, back when they were good. Maybe compare to modern day Macgregor's
Perfect timing! Looking for a putter now
I have a Cleveland Huntington 3 and have played it for 2 years now by far very good feel and quality. Not sure why no one wants them but there are so many options its just what you think works for you. Im not spending $300 on a gamer that i will still putt shitty with!! lol
Just seen a rare mizuno quirky putter you was looking for 20 quid eBay.. looks lovely 👌🏻don’t know how to upload the photo I’m afraid
Loving all the videos
I've got a tp mills no. 4 and it's outstanding
I've just got a set of Wilson staff D100 irons for £100. Decent quality and forgiving 👌
