@@jasminedurden5091 the bacteria does eventually die tho due to being inhibited from growth or anything else. They don’t stay in the body alive forever. Bacteria static and bactericidal both cause bacterial death just in diff ways.
So NCLEX is for nursing and USMLE is for doctor. I went to nursing school and passed the NCLEX im now in med school. The content taught here is more than you need to know for the NCLEX lol. U really just need to know thomycin is suffik and gi upset for the NCLEX. The content here is good enough for medschool. As this is what my professors covered in med school now.
@@MrJayPuff I’m a medical student too. the content here in this video is absolutely not enough for medschool. You’d have to know sooo much more about Macrolides than this video shows.
It will helpful only to get 2 marks in 5 marks question if know to present your answer ….if you have less time for uni then it will be helpful for short topics
My exam is tomorrow and your videos are life saver
You sir are a wonderful human being for sharing these
Thank you so much!! Pixorize is saving my skin.
much better than the sketchy video for macrolides
I was told to not take this drug with food. Just a full glass of water will do to avoid GI upset
Really awesome video!!! Made me to remember every Adr thank God! Keep doing such amazing videos!
We have to memorize which antibiotics are bacteriostatic versus bactericidal. So saying that macroglides kill bacteria is confusing
how is it confusing? Bacteriostatic kill bacteria and bacteriostatic prevents growth.
@@ErikaGarcia-xv9sd The video says that macrolides kill bacteria, implying that they bactericidal. They are however bacteriostatic, inhibiting growth.

@@ErikaGarcia-xv9sd i was told that it is bacteriostatic=supressing growth....when given in high doses it is bactericidal=immediate death
This didn't include moa of binding to 50s subunit of the ribosome to halt protein synthesis.
Good job!
is there pixorize for USMLE? i dont know if this is NCLEX version, but for medical school, we need to know so much more..
