Hi, PJ, how are you? Hope so. Thank you for this teaching. Soon I will attend your online course. At the moment I have to go to the free classes even where I learn a lot that is helping me to start doing some jewelry projects. Today I make them hand, but in the Rhino is much more dynamic. Health and peace for you.
good questions Jesse. it depends on what type of metals and what design you have. the larger ring usually need thicker metals. and if there are a lot of cut out on the design, you also need to consider how metal will flow into certain areas and maybe give a extra sprue in those area.
hi there can you please let me know how to increase the metal weight from hollow ring in hollowed out part i mean how to unhollow the same signet ring which you hollowed out
if you keep the original curve. rebuild the ring is not too difficult. if you don't have the curves, you can try to offset surface. however, it may have some gaps between surface need to be filled.
Thank you so much Ma'am for you and your work. Can you please send a link to your or any online class for learning how to uses the Rhino 6.0 Matrix Jewelry CAD CAM software. Thank you so much in advance. Aaron Evans.

I have a question, Is 0.8mm thick enough for casting purposes?
good questions Jesse. it depends on what type of metals and what design you have. the larger ring usually need thicker metals. and if there are a lot of cut out on the design, you also need to consider how metal will flow into certain areas and maybe give a extra sprue in those area.
