I started using my stop watch on my wrist watch and I can’t say it enough how much it has helped me put more fish on the bank than ever before. It’s such a simple notion but it’s the difference between catching more fish than I normally would have. A guy on the next leg asked if I was running late cos I kept looking at my watch every 10 to 15 min’s I simply said no this is how I learn what’s working n isn’t.

Thanks so much for this brilliant video - Applied all of this info to my first method session ever on a local natural water yesterday, was the only angler who caught. Bite a cast (stopwatch is invaluable) with carp between 1lb and 8lb, bulk around 5lb. 8mm fluoro wafters & a glug of banoffee Haze, half and half 2mm stiki pellets with super crush Robin red method mix. Hooks were QM1 in 16with 4” hook length. Massive result

size 16 hooks with an 8mm pellet ? your not carp fishing lol the hook needs to lay flat and the wafter wafts, size 16 for 6mm size 12 for 8mm

My go to hook bait for feeder work all year round is a 6-8mm washed out wafter. Caught so many fish on them

Absolutely love shipped tipps and all your films. You have taught me so much. Could you do the method in deep water as I think people like myself struggle with it.

Switched over from qm1 to the mcm mag store as kept snapping the qm1 and I’m very impressed with them, so sharp (hooked in finger many times 😂) great tips as always Mr Shipp

Great video. But when do you decide to take a hollow into the feeder? I ordered a 9ft Monster and think with this one I can fish without right? Thanks

Great upload Des, how often in winter would you change the laccy in feeder stem. Is it just a check over with your fingers or more check on keeping notes and weight court. 👍

It's funny that carp in the middle kept flopping and change side and landed perfectly on its side.

Hi Des. It worries me fishing at distance with the method feeder. I worry that the bait with fall off when hitting the water. I tend to use hybrid. Can you suggest the difference with each feeder. Cheers love your videos. 👍

You can put both groundbait and pellet on the method, which definitely helps to bind the pellets.

Most of what you have just shown will catch more anglers than fish. Guess thats the point of this video,to sell products..

Cracking point David, and totally true, Winning Ways channel gets rid of this theory, as they are both sponsored by different camps. They arent allowed to push products, and the laugh is incredible!!
