    "If my brother is doing that to me, I just wonder what my enemy will do."
    Some siblings are really heartless.
    This is the same Kola that wanted to be the president of Nigeria. A man that is mean towards his siblings can never have the interest of the nation at heart.

    They should revert to the traditional African way of inheritance. Kola, being the first son from the first wife is simply in charge. "Traditional way of inheritance" as you put it, takes back stage when a man leaves a WILL.
      The WILL is the first instrument used to manage a dead person's assets.
      Apparently Kola is not following the provisions of the WILL MKO left. That's what this man is fighting for.

      @LeToxEletu 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I respectfully disagree with your perspective, as this seems to be more a case of greed than a reflection of polygamy. With all due respect, part of Nigeria's current challenges stem from our reluctance to address issues directly and call them what they truly are. There's an overwhelming emphasis on religion, yet access to accurate and transparent information remains limited. In this context, the question we should be asking is: How would our society function if such greedy behaviors were confronted and dealt with effectively? While we understand the story of Abraham and Sarah, this situation doesn't align with that narrative-it's a case of greed, not what you're presenting.

    The WILL is the first instrument used to manage a dead person's assets.
    Apparently Kola is not following the provisions of the WILL MKO left. That's what this man is fighting for.
    In a large family like this with different gates, it's not workable to leave one person in charge.

    Having all these wives and children, he should have set up trust funds way before he died in order to avoid this wahala. I don’t believe there’s an English law that prohibits the children of a deceased wife from inheriting her assets, her portion of his money that was allocated to her should have gone to her children. His brother screwed him and his sister. So what did Kola do with his mother’s share of the money? This young man should ask questions, find out about the British law to confirm or what Kola said. Men who have multiple wives and children are selfish, when they are gone, they leave a lot of problems for their children and wives.

Blaming it on polygamy is a simplistic way of looking at life.
