Hardly toxic; it's the mental aspect of the game- I've played since one and gamebattles since 2; the community is very accepting long as you can either play or are a lovely person out of matches. It's called trash talk for a reason; it stays in lobby for most part and has aim to make other team play worse. No different from trash talk in lacrosse or rugby which the former I still play and rugby for 11 years before switching to lacrosse. Also the mixture toxic community on Xbox I've witnessed is smite in ranked people spam vgs from first minute,send abusive messages and tilt themselves and most if not the entrie team. @alberto Cuevas I feel I must ask what experience with gears competitively do you have to allow you to make such a deduction?

I've been on mutiple squads grinding GBS and did near daily scrims for a number of years- hardly by myself in a party. Lol; don't patronise me bruv- that's cute you think sports and eSports are different- nae it ain't lots of transferable skills. I myself have had toxic teammates who would scream at you and call you every name under sun but that isn't trash talk that was them not playing any sports competitively so not knowing how to be a good teammate as a result. Gears esports has been online since like april But in the last LAN major right before the covi19, in Mexico, 2 of the players even fought irl. I mean when you see this game, toxicity will follows, the community has already thrown out 2 community managers. And TC is dogshitttt at making a gears game
