My Grandma was a Hardcore Cadillac owner. She loved the Big Cars. She had 1 Rule. Trade in at 30.000 miles. In 1988 She Traded in Her 1981 DeVille for a 1988 DeVille. In early 1991 while at Dealer getting Service & 10.000 mile check up, the Service Manager told Her that 1992 was going to be Last Year for the Current Body Style. After She Returned to Pick up her 88 she pulled right into the Sales Dept. She Went inside & Pre-Ordered a 1992 & Wanted the Top Shelf De-Elegence with every available option available But She Deleted the Vinyl Cloth Top she always had. She wanted a Painted Top cause she decided this would be Last Cadillac she would Purchase. My Grandma Drove the Car next 25 years She was Alive using the Car Less & Less as She aged. My Grandma passed in 2017 & Her Cadillac Reached the Milage of 44.000 Miles.

I like how big it is!! Big V8 sedans and station wagons (ooooo wagons) are simply great. The 94-96 Roadmaster is a favorite. One of the final B-bodies out there featuring the LT1 engine. This is a contrast, but the E38 7-series is a lot of fun too!

A little rubbing compound followed by a coat of wax would make that whip look like a million bucks !! Looks nice and straight.

My first car was one exactly like this. I’m mostly a Mopar guy but I’ve been a sucker for classic caddies since I was 3. I miss that big ass car everyday. Saving up for another as we speak 🤞🏾😩

Very nice. I've had several Cadillacs over the years, none of which I bought new. Most of mine were older than this one. My father had a 90 Brougham with a 350 in it, but he unfortunately got into an accident in the mountains of northwest New Jersey and wrecked it.
I have a `96 Sedan DeVille right now. I've always liked Cadillacs. But I have no interest in the modern weird stuff they make now.

I have an 89 Brougham d’Elegance that is the exact same color inside and out. It’s too bad the lacquer paint from the era doesn’t hold up over time, but it is an excellent car and very reliable. The 307 has to be tuned right, though, given it is not overly powerful and as such doesn’t have much to spare if not running right.

Very neat 80s American land yacht. Interesting to see a carbureted engine from that time period. That being said, I hope you don't have too many problems with your engine as you may or may not have heard about a carburetor's WORST enemy: ethanol. The gov't sneaks that stuff into our gasoline without even requiring the info being posted at the gas pump. The ethanol can attract water and damage the parts and lines over time. Fuel injected engines are immune to this, but carbureted engines are vulnerable. Have you heard about these issues lately?

This must be one of those cars that were stuck in the early 70s by design. Many of the stylings were in my Grandfather's 1971 Olds Delta 88.

The parking brake is controlled by vacuum lines, so when you shift out of park the vacuum holding it down releases. My friend has a '94 DeVille and when she came to my house to trick-r-treat I had her set the parking break because my driveway is sloped and it would have rolled right off and ran over toddlers like bowling pins. Come to find out that the brake is stuck because the line was shot and there IS a manual release, you just have to put your entire arm up the bottom of the dashboard and hope that you can feel for the release. some of the worst 20 mins of my life :)

I have an 87 de’Elegance 4 door with a moonroof in super great shape , Not really spacious at all , . Cadillac should of gave us less trunk space and more interior room ! Trunk this large is unnecessary..😏
