Protecting freedom of speech at the cost of $44,000,000,000 is more important than solving the energy problem. Let others solve the energy problem because no one was doing anything to stop the federal government to unconstitutionally control what gets discussed and who gets to talk… in my humble opinion.

Tesla… will be the biggest company/market cap in the world by 2030/2035. Tesla’s automobile division will be less than half of their revenue stream when they achieve their goal of making 20,000,000 cars per year. Their biggest revenue stream ever will be Optimus the humanoid robot. Tesla energy will be about the same revenue percentage as the automobile division.

Having billions of real world data, training an Ai to drive is worth less than Nvidia. Oh right, it is all about profit. There is no future prospect from self driver since everyone is basically ahead of Tesla at this point. Did I capture your Tesla narrative sentiment?

I think the Tesla stock price will drop down for the next 18 months and then i will buy back into Tesla i think at under $ 120 if my guess is correct.

FYI Tesla could very likely be at $120 in the next 30-60 days not 18 months. Tesla has tons of positive news that will rally the stock over the next 18months no way Tesla stock stays low for 18m probably will be low for another few months and that’s it

I ask myself these things a lot. I was always super bullish on Tesla even when the stock hit $1000 which was insane to me since my buy in was like average of 150 or sth.
I was still super bullish thinking Tesla is the future (part of me thinks they still can be if elon stops being on twitter 24/7 and starts to be an inspiration rather than a boring annoying right winger again) but some friends told me to take some profits and diversify. I took the advice and sold most of my shares for way higher than what we are currently trading at.
Like there is limited growth potential for NVIDIA right now, there exist only that many companies to buy a huge amount of chips from them. I'm not saying they cant keep their business or grow it further of course, but as we saw very well with Tesla it is much easier to grow on a backlog compared to when you have to adapt to the current demand situation.
NVIDIA isnt insanely over valued yet, but I give the same advice I took from my friends back then. Take some of those gains and diversify your positions. We aint seeing another very fast runup for nvidia any time soon, thats for sure.

Alex is great on the technology side. Been a subscriber to him for a few years now, but I vehemently disagree with him on the twitter situation. Like many liberals (I'm making an educated assumption that he's a liberal like most of us in this space) Alex has no idea how much of an existential threat to humanity the woke mind virus is. Was there someone more qualified to take over twitter? In the terms that Alex is looking at this, sure, maybe. But who else recognized the problem and had the spine to go through with it and stick to his principles in spite of the vicious attacks from every part of the system? We got into this mess in the first place because most normal people, almost everyone, is afraid or and/or unable to stand up to this demon. I was becoming so black pilled watching this process unfold over the previous decade, trying to warn fellow liberals who thought I was crazy or heavily exaggerating this threat, when finally Elon swoops in and with great struggle, manages to steer the trajectory away from the cliff. It was a desperately needed white pill for me.
Anyway, I definitely appreciated Farzad's and Hans' response, but I think there is a lot more to add in defense of Elon, so that is my two cents. I understand Alex is coming at this purely from an investor's perspective, but I still think it's flawed. Perhaps he might change his mind if he read some books such as Yeonmi Park's (North Korean defector who is sounding the alarm of how bad it is getting in the USA) "While Time Remains" and Christopher Rufo's "America's Cultural Revolution: How the radical left conquered everything", which woke up the famous activist investor Bill Ackman.

I think it would be helpful if the video description included the socials of the guests. I watched some of TickerSymbolYOU's videos a while back and remembered him being bullish on Nvidia. Definitely paid off for him. I don't understand the opportunity (how is this different from Intel and AMD not become super massive companies given that the whole world is largely dependent on them for PCs and servers) so looking forward to understand more.
Not sure what to make of CUDA being a competitive advantage. Sounds like proprietary assembly language. Edit: it's a higher level language so maybe more like Swift for Apple. If so, I'm skeptical of treating that as a significant advantage over OSS alternatives. In fact, as a consumer, I tend to root for OSS.

Twittwer is a moral dilema, Elong has a big belief in free speach. This is an important part of his personality. It also has monetory value.

Nvidia isn't reacting to the present, they're responding to the future.

Real difference with Tesla that has offered to license HW & SW to partners … Jensen will probably not offer HW & SW to its partners (Intel, AMD ….). Does that mean their partners will go bankrupt? What options will their partners have?

Haven yet seen anyone answer : how much can simulations substitute for real world video, and: what to make of the X post the other day showing ChatGPT solving a driving picture question?

IMO Twitter has the data that will help Elon build a ChatGPT competitor which will pair with FSD to create Optimus

Twitter in hindsight will be a brilliant buy. Where else can Elon buy a company with a rich data to train is LLM. He needs this data to perfect training self drive, Bots, and Grok. He doesn’t have time to set up a social media company and hope in 10 years that it will succeed and become as big as Twitter now. I think Tesla saw that FSD can be solved using LLM and that is when he decided to buy Twitter. Doesn’t hurt that you can also leverage this to become an everything app and also help him push back on his critics. Every billionaires have their own media company to push their narrative. Either you control how people perceive you or someone else will.

The opportunity cost of developing other technologies instead of Twitter was democracy and free speech. Elon saw that cost as too high.

    If LIGHT & QUANTUM COMPUTE use 1/10 of Power;
When will TESLA & NVIDIA use this too ! ?
