My dad went on an Alaskan cruise 15 yrs ago. while on the cruise my dad had congestive heart failure. the marines got him off the ship to shore. where a jet met them and flew him to Anchorage. he spent 9 weeks on life support. my dad was from west palm beach FL. when he recovered a male nurse flew with him from Anchorage to West Palm Beach. before my dad went on the cruise he took out the medical insurance. it was 75.00. it covered 100 percent of all medical bills. he said it was the best 75.00 he ever spent. so I highly suggest taking out the medical insurance.
So agree with buying travel insurance - honestly for any type of trip, life happens you never know what can happen even before you leave. Little cost for peace of mind.

Johnny Vegas has a pacemaker because of AFIB . He’s had it a long time. What’s happening to him is right on coarse. He may look normal but he’s really sick. He needs our prayers.

I had the same thing happen when we were on a cruise ship. We were right in the middle of the ocean and a helicopter landed on the very top to take someone who had heart attack to the nearest hospital. It is scary. He definitely needs insurance.
My sister in law said that she was feeling not well on a cruise -and went to gift shop to buy cold meds / none of you need some you check into medical and get shut in your rooom for days
@@kg2803 That's the down side to cruises, not only will they bill you for medical center but also keep you locked in your small cabin for the rest of the cruise!

If you want to scare Sarasota Tim, just mention lots of hidden extra charges they bill you for before ship get to the departure destination. 😂
