This is true and a problem common to all aspects of cycling - but in theory this should make room for competitors to undercut with a product of similar quality. Lidl and Decathlon make some decent stuff that is cheap as chips, but you need to cherry pick. Sportful / Endura not bad mid range value, and stuff like Rapha and Café du Cycliste occupies the top slot, just as say Diesel or Ralph Lauren do on the high street.
Cyclespeed Tours ... true but,as with all aspects of life .. competition isn't driving pricies down and I can see the cycling industry has took a leaf out of the luxury watch market. Unfortunately cycling was never a "luxury" sport... well not here in the UK. As for Decathlon, great products for the price
This is a subject that would merit a complete video! It seems to be true that the top end prices keep increasing and there has to be a ceiling to that, but Rapha continues to flourish, so maybe we haven't hit that yet. But in a free market (which it is), it just creates a gap for someone to exploit; good quality, well designed cycle kit for reasonable prices.
Cyclespeed Tours .. Yes your right .. Cheers for taking the time to reply .. it's a a big topic and like you say it would merit another vid.. keep up the good work it is appreciated. L
True, and I have always been impressed with that aspect of their service, which sets a reference for others. It's too early to tell yet for CdC, but their attention to detail seems to be excellent.
I have seen complaints about wear and tear in the Rapha Core bibs after some 7000km, which is basically 1-2 seasons. Have you tested the bibs from CDC yet in comparison to Rapha's? Thnx and have a fair wind on your next ride
I don't doubt, it's a great top but with most things cycling... the prices are getting out of hand. From the kit to the bikes.

Hi, yes the Pro TEams really don't last long, especially for the money. CdC shorts are still going strong!
Pulls too much at the arms when you're on the bike. It looks really creased under the arms. My void jersey only pulls slightly.
You didn’t mention it so I have to ask. Is this an independent review?
Yes, absolutely, anything I review is.
CDC shorts have the best leg hug. Does not cause sausage thighs for me as a fatass.
The mesh is not for me tbh.
It's a Marmite thing!
Why 'effeminate'? And why '...but there you go.'?
Just that Georgette sounds like a girl's name to me, which is an odd choice for a men's top. But I can't say I'm too bothered!
