Aaaaand you answered my question from your last vid. Absolutely fantastic my dude, thank you so much! Can't wait to release my own Illusion remix, this was huge help :D
Hi I saw some tutorials from you on hardstyle and they were good but I would like to try a subgenre of hardstyle and rawstyle and that is extra raw, it's a very aggressive genre focused on screeches and kicks I really like adjuzt or warface or the strikerz but I don't know how to do it when there is almost no melody in these tracks I can't do it could you please make a tutorial how to make a whole extra raw track? thanks.
Wow, thanks for the tip, that's sensational. But what if I only use the free version of audiomee (I just tested it and the mp3 file is also of very good quality) but I can only use it for myself with no commercial use as it says in the description. No licenses are required when uploading to distrokid or am I wrong?
I also want to make remix of a song. I cant upload it to Spotify as i dont have distrokid, but if i normally upload it to SoundCloud will i get any problem?
Yes, it is a cover. It would be a remix if you used the original vocals but in that case you need the permission of the artist and will be named like a remix, with you as a remixer, not as your own song and you as the artist
@ thanks dude! One last question, if i realesse it as a cover. What would be the name. I need to write name of Song-originally artist (cover name) im confused a bit about that.
Nope, it is a video I wanted to make because of my last song and because I've received several messages asking about it. If I got a deal with the website shown or not is not important, that's something between me and the website, the content is the same
It happens so much you probably don't even know it. Some of the song you listen to are covers too. People don't even care anymore. Even the original creators. Some of these songs blew so big that the original creators told them to take the cover down and make an official remix which gave the remixer a mega boost and made them famous. Like Morgan satree for example. Just use it to gain attention but don't do it on everything you make.
So you make a whole song but as you used the lyrics of a famous song you shouldn't monetize all the work and effort to make that song and then the time to promote it? 🤔🤔
@epmixes exactly, that's why it is a cover and you can release it with a cover license, because it's the same lyrics but with another singer. That is literally the meaning of a cover
@@wildcrowmusic Yes, but a cover doesn't use any original files of the song, only the text and/or the melody. I don't really know too much about this but I asked ChatGPT and specified everything and it said that it was still illegal. However, I believe it would be hard for someone from the original artist's label to know that it is using the original vocal just through AI, but still this video is probably a bit misleading if it isn't legal, which it isn't according to ChatGPT. I understand that ChatGPT isn't always right, but it told me what were the problems, which was that the original vocal is still used even though it's a voice changer.
@epmixes man, I didn't use any original file in the final song that I released, that is why I can release it and why I got the license to release it, because everything that is in the song is mine and I have the rights of it. Not a single original stem is used.
Are you 100% sure nobody's gonna contact me or take my cover down etc. for using AI modified original vocal? I thought about doing the same thing but was always worried if it's legal.
If you have the Audimee Pro and you get the license to release the cover like the one DistroKid get you, 99% no problem (there's always a chance of getting it deleted)
@@wildcrowmusicSo you think it's usually worth risking, even if you're not 100% sure if someone's not gonna like your cover? I think the only 100% way is to ask for permission but it's often long and complicated for smaller artists like me (I have around 100k monthly listeners) However TH-cam is a more complicated thing when it comes to covers, because (in theory) you'd need a sync license for a music video. I know 95% of people don't get those licenses and nothing happens but you actually risk getting a copyright strike if someone's gonna get mad at you :(
*Here I explain how I did this remix step by step:* th-cam.com/video/ZUV8HksLEZ0/w-d-xo.html

Not into that
What about the copyrights of the composition and the lyrics?
DistroKid gives me the license
Thank you, that its very useful!

Not sure how audimee tracks that to be honest but I wouldn't take the risk to get the song deleted for not paying the subscription

Your artist name - name of the original song

How much is what?
I get this is legal, but I don't respect monetising these kinds of works - but it is what it is

The original artist receives royalties and credit from the covers through songwriter royalties.
I doubt this is legal though, you are still using the original vocal which would make it derivative work
Did you watch the video? 😂😅 I'm not using the original vocal, that's why it is legal
@@wildcrowmusic I mean it is still the original vocal just with some ai on it that changes the voice

@mattbukovski92 how many covers have been released in the last 4 years? There you have the answer
