i got the side mount option. but its not got a light to illuminate it i can run a light but i want to run it to the plug like it should have come with
I ordered mine for my 2023 sportster s. The connections look similar but it will not turn on.
Have an idea what it could be?
Maybe Dead on arrival?
Shouldn’t be. Ru sure it’s plugged in right and when you plug in your factory one in same connector it works fine?
I can't find any source regarding if it solves mud splashing problem
For splashing you can add a splash guard. I seen people buying a front one and modify to fit in rear.
mine are working weird when i plugin it directly into the socket near fuel tank, not the one which is down. maybe thats why i might get error and lights are blinking like arythmia?
It could be due to added resistance so leave the long one in and loop it around back towards the seat.
