Same thing happened to my car on 19Ts recently. Everything was running great and then out of nowhere I got a superknocking code and boost deactivation code and heard a knocking noise in the upper rpm range. Havent taken it apart yet, but im also leaning towards a leaking injector. Also got index 12s with less than 10k miles, so its really too bad this shit happened... Also about to test out my injectors and see if they were the culprit. Im also swapping my car with a motor that only had 66k miles on it! Will finally get to put my DR700 kit on this time! Cant wait. Keep us udpated!

After testing my injectors they were fine, unsure of why fuel dilution came up on the oil sample. New motor running strong with the same injectors out of the blown motor.

I’ve blown up my 2011 335is 12hours after buying it I never ripped it or did a pull. Just on my way home from taking my dad home from the dealer it blew up with a misfire and a clear rod bearing knock the engine actually seized. I want to strangle the prior owner if they did just not baby it. But it’s a well maintained car as I could tell. Anyways I’ve gone as far as I can to try and figure out why we must suffer from bad injectors. It’s seriously so dumb and there isn’t a real fix. Carbon builds up so quickly. And that alone cause the injector clog and then it leaks with it clogged of carbon. How I the god damn hell can we prevent that from roasting a good engine.

Can happen for many reasons, perhaps the injector stuck open, or if the misfire was bad enough it may have legitimately hammered the bearing to death. After testing my fuel injectors they all were okay & not leaking! Injectors off the blown motor are on the new motor & still going strong. Hope your car is running good again soon!

Just delete the direct injection all together spend the 2k ish you would’ve on injectors on a feul tech f550 standard and the harness and go full port injection. This will allow you to stop dealing with the constant failure of the 1200$ hpfp aswell 👍🏼

5W-40 Castrol edge, changed the oil every 4000-5000km since I’ve had the car. New Oil & and filter were only ran for around 2 hours, so the injector that’s leaking must be dripping pretty good, I will be testing them in a future video.
