  • We took a bus ride from Cancun to Chichen Itza. On the way back, we stopped by this Cenote called Selva Maya. It's out in the Maya Jungle near Valladolid, Mexico. The water is approximately 100 feet deep. Many people on our bus ride went swimming down in the water of the cenote. You'll need cash to rent the lifevest. Lifevests are required. and you might also need cash to rent a locker. It was a beautiful and amazing part of the trip. If you're staying in Cancun, make sure to book an excursion to Chichen Itza to see one of the famous cenotes.
