Some doctors are just mean bullies. Don’t let them intimidate you. I can tell your confidence is really growing. Keep doing what you’re doing….💕
Some doctors are just horrible and forget that they used to be brand new themselves. Remember that YOU are your patient’s advocate. I let doctors know that if I’m calling you it’s for a valid reason. Always be safe rather than sorry because if anything goes down, best believe they will not hesitate to throw you under the bus.

If a Dr is turning around blaming you for "wasting" their time, they shouldn't be looking after patients better to be safe than sorry. I'm sorry this has happened to you, In my current job I work on the telephone and many Drs have Made me cry, blaming me that they haven't eaten their dinner ect when a call comes through as if I have control when a patient becomes unwell.

Night shift nausea is real!! I've been on nights for just about a year now and for the first six months it was really rough. My coworkers have dealt with it too. The biggest thing that's helped is stacking my shifts- in my opinion you get the most sleep between shifts this way, and less tired may = less nausea? Lol I also got an as needed prescription for zofran which helped a lot in the beginning too (it got kinda bad and couldn't eat w/o being nauseous)

You can do it if you really want it! I believe in you 😊 I also want to be a nurse :)
I don’t believe L&D is the hardest specialty, rather, I think it’s exactly what it is- a specialty. L&D is quite literally it’s own world and I think that’s what makes people feel like it’s the hardest. Madi did it the smartest way by coming right out of school going into L&D, because it’s all she’ll know. Not at all downplaying just how much L&D can teach you. She’ll just be at an advantage. In the same way someone is born in a country, their first language is that country’s language, they were raised in that culture, the same will happen to you if you go into L&D (or whatever specialty you fall in love with) out the gate. Biggest thing to do if you’re a student is get well acquainted with your clinical instructor and the nurses you shadow because they can help you get your foot in the door.

Good video, the best decision I made as a RN nurse was to create a side hustle for extra income streams. It has really helped me and my family financially stable.
@Maria Bryant I made a couple of investments but my investment in forex and crypto has been yielding good profits and I don't think of stopping anytime soon. Investment is key.
Stock, forex, crypto currency, Real Estate, hedge funds and ETFs are good investments as well 😊

@Maria Bryant I had similar experience until I met Timothy Scott Taylor my FA, investment or trading is not what you do without proper guidance. He handles all my investment and trading activities and makes sure my portfolio is diversified into various sectors of the market.

does americas health care policy allow perfume? here in canada it’s all scent free. we can’t wear scented lotion, deodorant, laundry soap, hand soap, gels, hairsprays etc unless it’s scent free!

What’s up with dr’s bullying the nurses?! When I gave birth earlier this year in February, I had the smoothest delivery because of my nurses. I promise you they were HEAVEN SENT & here comes the dr being so rude to them. Never rude to me, but just so aggressive & mean to them. You guys don’t deserve that :(

Don't let these doctors get to you. Ya sure get upset and cry we all do. But remember it is there job! And you are doing your job. If they don't want to be woke up in the middle of the night for a pt they should have been dermatologist or something 🤣🤣
