I am the orphan, the one who killed your world
Keeping up appearances with acts of attrition
It doesn't matter 'cause I know you'll never listen
Before, you knew it when you saw it
Now you say you never knew it, it was all a big conspiracy
We came together when the hands of fate let go
Is there anybody left to fill this hole?
This shit will never wash off
Give yourself a medal, I swear I fucking give up
We're nothing special, just an accidental tweak of the freak
An evolution of the kennel in the fetish you seek
There's still a part of me that's dying in a dumpster
The one who rose is a motherfucking monster
I've seen the future, and it's simply burning!
I wasn't put here to be so discerning!
You want the world to be dissatisfied?!
You don't care, so why the fuck should I?
Fuck, should I sell myself to stay alive?
I am not the same
You never had a clue or knew my name
You wanna know the story? take my pain
I am ready, the lie is heard
I am not the same
You never had intent to keep my blame
You really wanna know who the fuck I am?
I am the orphan, the one who kills
The one who kills your world
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
Tell me all about it
I love to hear it
The way I ruin everything I touch
I never thought I'd get to say I'm sorry
But then again I think you ask too much
Too white to be black
Too black to be blue
Too sick to be me
Too fucked to be you
I only wonder if I'll live to see the end of the road
It always gets me nowhere
I am not the same
You never had a clue or knew my name
You wanna know the story, take my pain
I am ready, the lie is heard
I am not the same
You never had intent to keep my blame
You really wanna know who the fuck I am?
I am the orphan, the one who kills your world
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
I am the orphan, the one who kills
Everyone has something
Someone here has everything
I am the orphan, the one who kills
Yeah, hahahaha
Thanks!
Legend 👍🏻👍🏻
By the power of Jay Weinbergs calves!
Tinnitus: Don't do it
Me: clicking on Slipknot Orphan
Tinnitus: Seriously don't do i-
Me: slowly increasing the volume to max
Andrew G lol
It's the best cure for it Imo no ringing in your ears just headcaving music that gives you a fat testosterone boost
SAME 😆🤣
It'd be even funnier if it wasn't true. I've actually got early onset tinnitus from listening to music with headphones so loud it could be heard across the house clearly. Random piercing screeches and constant low pitch hum when it's really quiet.
im 23 and have had it for 5 years, tinnitus sucks haha
61 year old maggot for life SLIPKNOT have knot disappointed me again
I salute you sir
Fuck yeah James!!!! Keep on headbanging brother 💪💪
Stay sick!
My father 70, too.
You have my respect stark
I've lived with these guys sense their first album, very close ....
Could this be their best album? I KNOW I KNOW (Self Titles, Iowa, Vol.3) it blew my mind when that questioned creeped in my head too, but this album as a whole just grows on me by the hour. So proud of my guys. 20 years later and they’re still giving us pure gold.
LONG LIVE THE KNOT 🖤🖤🖤
I personally hated volume 3. Its by far my least favorite. This record tho honestly to me stands up nicely to the first 2 and that's a hell of an accomplishment.
Miss you Jay Weinberg
The whole Album is Sic !!
Brilliant Riffs !!
I love when my heart beat tries racing the drums in this song
"There is still a part of me dying in a dumpster"
This actually almost had me crying. It's sad to think he almost died in one when he was just a kid
One time Corey talked about overdosing on cocaine and they dumped him in a dumpster i think thats what he might be referencing
That line hit hard.
“The one who rose is a motherfucking monster”!!
@@theitalianstallion973 I don’t know what this means because this line could have many meanings:
1. he could say that the one who imposed themselves is a cruel guy
2. he could mean the one who rose from the dead is a freak
This song is the hands down the best one on the album! Period! It's Slipknot in every sense... aggressive, weird, brutal and heavy with best vocals, guitars, samples and drums on the entire album. The whole song is just fucking superb! It's on repeat several times a day.... just can't get enough, love it!
Top 5 of WANYK:
1. Orphan
2. Red Flag
3. Nero Forte
4. Solway Firth
5. Critical Darling/Unsainted
Me too
I never noticed the acronym of this album......
A Liars Funeral is everything
ı loved red flag
Birth of the cruel u forgot
*This drummer is INHUMAN*
Corey Maggot not really
JAY FUCKING WEINBERG
i love that they left in the yelling in the beginning, it gives the song a certain feel before it even starts
They need to have a music video for this!
The Voice of Corey remember the past the best voices in long time🤘🤘🤘
This song would be a beast in a show. I'd like to see them play this live
Ooooh
