Recently I was thinking... If you chose Republic over the Empire, the flag (or something like that) of the Eternal Alliance has no sense then. Am I right? Don't you have to change that?

It would be interesting to see the diferences when a sith sides with the republic and vice versa more even the diferences when the troper sides with the empire and elara´s reaction and if her recomendation would be different for malcom same goes for sith warrior with quinn
Honestly my greatest interest is what may happen if a Imperial Agent Republic Spy path Character took the Republic side of this new expansion storyline. Maybe they may sneak in exclusive scenes where the IA Republic Spy meet a certain group of Republic spies again but only for IA who chosen to be a Republic spy in their class storyline ending.
if they go the extra mile and make those Republic Spies as companions exclusively for IA Republic Spy characters that would be extra exclusive story choice reward for players who took that path.

That suggests to me that you started the war, so why the hell should I join you when you were clearly the aggressor? All you've done is prove that the Empire was the more peaceful option!
I wish there was an option to switch sides in the base game, instead they allow you to commit genocides but in the end it doesn't really matter

I wonder what's going to be the next galactic threat to bring Republic and the Empire together again. First it was Revan, then it was Arcann/Vaylin. I'm sure in a year or two, we'll get a new threat that will make Valorian/Tenebrae look mellow in comparison since the whole Republic vs Empire thing does get old.
I wonder if Jadus might return as a villain, he does get mentioned, and he's basically the only class story villain that you can't kill, you can either fight him and capture him alive, join him, or make him run away. Also I think I remember that his power is second to the Emperor's power, so if that doesn't make him a huge threat, I don't know what else can!
@@WorkGalaxy47 Maybe, Valkorian does admit that Jadus was the best Sith his Sith Empire ever produced. And given his hiatus in the Agent storyline, it is plausible he was doing the same thing as Valkorian and making his own empire elsewhere.

While it's nice to choose who you side with, I'm not really fond of the leader of the side you don't choose getting killed. Now, normally, it wouldn't be an issue with me for Darth Acena, but,..., she had some good morals. If anything, what would've made her death better is if she asked for the player to find a suitable successor for the Sith Empire, one in which could help maintain peace before dying,..., and maybe a chance to get Quin as well (or Elara if you chose the Empire). Maybe they'll do that for a later chapter when all sides realize that they got played by this traitor (who I think is the dark side character from the light/dark side event that we could've gotten instead of the Chiss jedi).
Wait so with the new expansion coming out do we get to choose Republic and Empire again like the Iokath storyline? If so, does that mean we can get Quinn here and then commit to Republic later, and vice versa for Elara and Empire?

I wonder how Jace Malcom would react if anyone from the Sith Empire allied w/the Republic (Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter) and vice versa for Empress Acina in terms of the Republic?

To be honest, I never quite understood the relevance of this story. Like, what is the point of Tyth? We don't even fight the Six. What's their story? Someone please enlighten me.

Damn it. The railroad here is frustrating. Really wanted to shout at both of them that their self destructive warfare is going to get EVERYONE killed. The whole thing was justified during the 1-50 arc. And even my Imp characters would happily side with the Republic, since I disliked the Empire even more when playing them and had a front row seat to just what a dump the place actually was behind the shiny appearance they put on than playing against them. (The Hunter, being an alien, got the receiving end of their racist tendencies and the Inquisitor has NOT forgotten that while the Force can free him, the Empire put that chain on his neck to begin with).
But after all the expansions? After Malgus's coup attempt, the Hutt Cartel, the Dread Masters, the Revanites, and Zakuul, these IDIOTS still can't figure out that there's a lot worse things in the galaxy than each other. And the Zakuul arc made it very hard to like the Republic, given Suresh's shenanigans and the fact they sat on their butts while Valky's kids threw a galaxy-spanning temper tantrum.
Would love to have an option to try diplomacy, even if it ends up doomed. And maybe give us a reason for a non-Republic toon or one on the fence to actually WANT to side with the Republic.
honestly the whole argument "eternal fleet has no weapon on Iokath is pile of bull- i would simply put it above Coruscant and Drommund Kaas and tell BOTH of them to GTFO or else. So what that my wepon is useless on Iokath-it is very much functional everywhere else. And when they force us to side with one side- the whole alliance shennanigans is moot- should i cage up all my empire/republic soldiers that fought and bleed for me against Valkorion kiddos?
