That cloak is the stuff of nightmare fuel. Only Doctor Strange can successfully pull off the sentient cloak look.
In my playthrough the cloak of the traitor moved too far left, so I saw the real outfit, well at least the lower part. It was one of the scions, most likely the new leader of them, who's name I can't remember.

I see a big plot hole, Theran Shan would've never chose to work alongside the Commander if you choose to align with the Empire.

Honestly I am more interested on how this choice will affect future parts of the storyline. From how it was handled I can guess by choose to side with either the Republic or Empire you are literally chosen which Story path your character takes being you're either Republic Storyline or Empire Storyline which would be interesting because that means Empire characters can finally choose to be on Republic side of the storyline and Republic characters can be on the Empire side of the storyline.
What about Dark Jedi joining the Empire?
Why do I get the feeling the traitor may be one of the two certain characters.
I really think it's either Lana or Theron, depending on your choices.
Our Lord and Saviour Nicolas Cage I wouldn't bet on characters that can be killed.
I hope it's not just factions that determine that though. There's a lot you could do to piss off Theron, but it's avoidable even if you side with the empire.
That would make sense, since either choice aligns with approvement from one of them.

i think siding with the empire is better because(in my opinion) it's easier to get rid of the empire because of the power struggles of the sith than to get rid of the republic correct me if im wrong tough
I prefer the siding with the Republic because it would be interesting story having a Empire character going through a Republic Storyline. Also Malcom gets more screen time in future episodes on the Republic side of the Storyline.
I actually had to sit on that choice for like 10 minutes. I thought about what's easier, to reform a bloodthirsty empire whom rarely betrays its principles: or a corrupt Republic whose principles were abandoned long ago in favor of efficiency/private interest/you name it, they got it. Empire seemed easiest to work with.

good god Malcom and Acina are stupid. I haven't played this story yet but If it were up to me, Id play Tywin lanister and exterminate a few sectors of their worlds to make a point: befriend the sleeping kryte dragon or become its food.
It's nice getting to see this without having to wade through thousands upon thousands of mobs.
Oh and not having to renew my subscription for half an hour of nothing content.

What are the best characters-gender combos to have storywise?
My first warrior is male pureblood, romanced Jaesa, then Lana. But once Vette returned, I started a male human that romanced Vette. Not sure which I will actually main, but male definitely has an advantage over female, as I never much cared for Quinn or Pierce. Nor did Bioware.
My Inquisitor is male, but I honestly see no advantage in either being male of female. No romances return, and Inquisitor is an obnoxious brat regardless. I essentially use him to kill everyone I can, purely for the hidden achievements.
My BH is male, because I love his voice. But since Mako is absent and Torian returns, I wonder if it is better playing a female BH. I don't see my male ever romancing Lana. Come back to me Mako!
My Agent is a chiss female triple agent. Kaliyo returns while Vector doesn't, but I hated both of them, so I went for Theron. Don't see a male Agent romancing either Kaliyo or Lana, so I stick to female.
My Knight is male, but Kira is absent. So is Doc for females. I stay faithful to Kira, becuse that fits his character more than going for Darth Eyeliner.
My Consuler... f*ck my consular...
My Smuggler is a crazy female maniac who romanced Corso purely out of pity. Now she romances Theron because he's right there. I wouldn't change to a male, even if Risha or Akavi returned. I'm having way too much fun with her.
My Trooper is FemShepard, obviously. She romanced Jorgan and kept faithful to him. Jorgan is her Garrus. Never much cared for Elara, so FemTrooper it is.
Male JK and SW are my favorites
